The MagicOne was released with a 4.4mm option. Hopefully Aful will continue making it an option moving forward. Great review sir, anyone that has heard them will agree.
Very nice review vid, P8 was one of my first loves, but then I started to notice a lot of music has a harshness in the treble with it, not really immediately sibilant or too bright, but maybe it's the hiss you talked about. I will have to do some comparisons, maybe a vid on the P8. My trouble is, Tangzu Nezha and Kiwi Ears Orchestra Lite hit my preference better, I suppose :)
If you like an energetic iem with spacious head-stage you should be just fine. I'm actually shocked I don't see more people talking about them. I think bgvp did a fantastic job of implementing the bone conduction driver.
okay, just grab reference output. almost any usb interface for music production. not cheapest, something little better. aaand I listening Spiritbox for the last few weeks as mad and Circle not sibilant. sorry but looks like your current output have colors what you didn't like. through my Audient ID14 mk2 it sounds good. on CKLVX, on bright 500LM, even on sibilant DT880. lamps adds harmonics. it's pleasant for many people. heavy bands got synths, guitars, vocals, cymbals and when harmonics coming on it they can't separate where they are working and where they shouldn't. they just saturate everything on their way. and heavy tracks have many problems to solve on mastering and engineers works hard like a surgery kings. and then you saturating their work) sibilants not the worst you can get from the output.
okay. I have some work to do. I have been wondering about Spiritbox. Why is a band that good settling for subpar engineering? Maybe they are not. Maybe it is my amplification and decoding. Or maybe it is the player/streamer QoBuz. Or maybe its the earphones. or maybe it is everything. right? But hey, that is what makes this fun. discovering a "problem" and trying to "fix" it. or at least understand it. My next project is not an iem review. It is decoding the treble/congestion/"sibilant" nature of Spiritbox recordings. Maybe I can find a solution with what I have. Maybe it is something I don't have yet... when you say "usb interface for music production" could you please give me an example? youre not just talking about a dac/amp, correct? or am I just being dense? lol. I can get a focusrite Scarlett 2i2 4th gen for $163 new. It looks like it’s all single ended output. I guess I am not sure how to integrate it with what I have…
Also looking at a Tascam US-2X2HR for about the same price. This one looks like it has balanced ins and outs. So I’d probably have better luck with integration… help…

RU-vid doesn't like me(( or some kind of shadow ban. I can't recommend Scarlet 2i2 4th gen. 2nd was good for it's price. not familiar with Tascam device, but I known them as great Japanese manufacturer. better to watch comparison review. another comment with Julian Krause name)) he is an Expert. this freaking RU-vid algorithms makes me crazy😂
