Kayaks, espresso machines, Broadway tickets, ski passes and high-end Lego sets are a few of the allowed ESA purchases that have outraged public school officials.
When are we going to get an update on her investigation of the Gov and her giving millions to a group home that killed a child, but donated hundreds of thousands to the Gov and Mayes.
So let me get this straight...just because the item's purchased can be "considered" a personal purchase, it can't be considered a teaching tool either... Well you will open the public school systems up to that same rule and you will see their budgets cut in half soon too!! If you truly want to get your child a good education, then either send them to Private or Charter schools. The public schools system is a Democratic-failed system and has been for decades!!
Yes! 100% correct. If public schools want our business, get the indoctrinated crap out of it and actually spend the money on EDUCATION not huge, expensive, buildings that expect every child to learn the same. Public schools could be competitive if they made smaller schools, if they cut their spending, if they only taught math, science, reading, etc... any sexual club is not allowed (i.e. "PRIDE") and no boys are allowed in girl's bathrooms.... and make sure the porn is out of the kid's library. If Public School is going to be competitive, it also has to be considerate of the common sense person also... the person that knows there is 2 genders, the person who knows that no 8 year old would normally think abt anal sex, the normal person who wants their own family's culture protected from the crazies. Right now, Public Schools have caved to radical nut jobs on the fringe left... and they want to force our kids to endure that. Screw that.
We liberals have cried for decades to help poor kids get equal opportunities... and now you have this wonderful program that gives them that and you want it taken away from them. It is disgusting what has happened to the Democrat party.
This doesn’t help the underprivileged as it does the already wealthy. It only applies to private schools, so the wealthy that has been sending their children to private now get money to buy items like a baby grand piano or ski lift tickets. It would take much more money than allowed if a child needed transportation to a private school besides all the extras a person has to have in private schools. It is destroying what we do have as a school system instead of trying to improve it.
