Residue breakdown.....Wouldnt applying from the manure pit help a lot.? Puts some nitrogen to it and holds in some moisture on that stover.

That would be good as long as you don't do that every year. If you do you will have a build-up of salts.

How deep should I plant corn when I have very sandy soil with 0 organic matter. Soil temps are very cold in the part of the world I am? Thanks
