82 years ago, Golden Gate International Exposition on Treasure Island closed, and the last ferry left the island.
Until now.
They called the fair the Magic City. But now a new Magic City 2.0 is rising on Treasure and Yerba Buena Islands, with up to 8,000 residences. And in March 2022 a ferry service again began running between the fair's Administration Building, now a historic landmark on Treasure Island, and San Francisco's Ferry Building.
