Dan, it is so good to see you poking around in that creek! I am always amazed at the beautiful stone you manage to find on your outings. It's common just to walk around and find awesome hand axe/chopper things like those?!?!...just wild! Have fun out there and thanks for the cool show!......Ben
Yeah. I was at a park the other day and I found a dirt pile where they had cleaned out a ditch with a backhoe and there were two of them right on top. thanks Ben. It's good to have you back too!
My brother and I spent a lot of time in and around a creek near our house too when we were growing up. We learned the powers of observation there... among many other things. Glad to see you again. :-)
Nice pretties, your eye gets drawn to the red ones. I find myself digging out the red and orange ones and I am still in my driveway LOL. Good to see you again. Hope the family is healthy and happy. Cheers. :-)
Great video and cool flakes, i love watching your videos. you were a big inspiration to me when i was younger and helped me get into the outdoors. Now im passing on all the stuff i learned from you to my friends and family. - brad
Very fun and chilled video man, good to see you back in the creeks dude! It’s nice comin along with you. I really like the colours in Findaflake Creek. Thank you for taking us with you!
So good to see you Dan, hope everything is going well, how are the children, gotten big I'm sure, do you live far from your old place, have you been back to the big cave or found new ones... LORD bless you and yours brother, maranatha!
You and me both brother! When I was a kid my parents couldn't keep me in the house if they tried, I would rather be running the woods and creeks! Nowadays I call it going to church. I don't know which is prettier, that red jasper or the green jasper you used to collect along the coast? Oh yeah, tasty fish!
Also wanted to say I really miss your videos. Your videos and videos like yours are what RU-vid used to be like. No; over produced, way too much drone footage, no hocking for gear to try to be the next DC. Thank you doing a vid when you can. Back in Oregon?
Well, I don't know about regularly but I hope to more often. I have had technology issues for a while but I'm thinking my new computer has fixed the problems. I've been unable to edit anything without the system crashing. After spending a bunch of time editing videos only to have them crash is a bit discouraging so I gave up (That and I have been super busy- life changes and such). So far the new computer has fixed that problem- that and educating myself on understanding the process.
