So what they confirmed this episode is that Billy has been part of the coven from the very start! Lillia wrote down a 🖤 for the coven which obviously led to us thinking it's Rio but realistically there's absolutely no reason she couldn't have written down her name. Billy's boyfriend calls him his 🖤 though and bc of the sigil Lillia wouldn't be able to write his name down or even know it. When Lillia was reading his fortune she actually saw Billy upside down in the crystal ball. Straight up with his makeup and black clothes. The tower reverse means violent change coming and one being resistant to it. Makes sense since William didn't choose to die and neither did Billy consciously decide to take his body. Billy being able to read minds was already showed in Wandavision btw. On another note tho, I loved seeing what Agatha was actually up to in ep 1, Joe and Kathrynn have insanely good comedic chemistry.
I loved the detail that explained why Agatha could catch up with Billy in the chasing scene, despite him being this "expert thief" in her vision (I remembered you even pointed it out in your reaction of that episodde): because in real life he was as clumsy as her, hahahhahaha
I like how they snuck in the text from the boyfriend with the 🖤. I believe that the 🖤 Lilia saw in her trance was Billy not Rio, but because she cast the sigel she didn't remember the name. Because Lilia cast the sigel when he still was William it hid both names from all witches including herself.
I believe she did write a name. Billy saw a name written in the note, but Agatha and Lilia under the effects of the sigil could only see the black heart at the end.
The Jewish rep had me so giddy!I’m not even religious anymore but it’s so rare to see a well done Jewish religious scene. And to hear Joe Locke do such a great pronunciation of the Torah reading… I was so impressed. Like he’s a British non Jewish boy reading Hebrew with an American accent. Apparently he worked with a rabbi for 4 months to get the pronunciation right. I’m so grateful and impressed. People were mad that a non Jewish actor was playing a Jewish character but honestly I’ve seen plenty of Jewish actors play Jewish characters disrespectfully. Joe and the Agatha team clearly worked hard to be respectful and I appreciate that so much
Getting to see everything from Billy's perspective was fucking hilarious to me. Maybe it was the weed, but I just could not stop laughing when I was comparing the scenes
28:15 -- Yes, William died (we, the audience, heard his heart beat slowing until it stopped then a couple or so seconds later surged to beating again when Billy took possession of his body and then yelled for Tommy). 29:47 -- Westview was under Wanda's control/hex for approximately 11 days (and some odd hours, plus or minus), based on the time table set out by SWORD relative to when she took Vision's body from them and then went to Westview that same day, initiating her massive hex around most of the town (until pushing it out even further into the fields/woods/outgoing roads later on). "Days" and "nights" within the hex didn't necessarily fully sync with how things were in the broader world outside, but were more or less close enough (if it was night time in the broader world, then it was night inside the hex, etc.), with just some scenes obviously taking place at "TV scene-change-speed", when and where applicable. 30:22 -- Wanda didn't age the children, usually: they aged themselves (likely via Billy's latent powers/will). She had wanted them to *not* get older (and forbade them from doing so in the scene after Sparky was found dead), but they were wanting to get older (which, from a narrative POV, likely represents their subconscious desire to become more so complete beings and branch out into the world, which at least Billy wound up doing by taking control of William's convenient-at-the-time just-deceased body).

She most likely will and that's why Lillia put the sigil on him. As she said, she knows he's a good kid. And now the sigil is broken bc Billy is starting to gather his powers and will be able to protect himself from Rio.

Rio Lindal in translation is the river styx. She is death. Her only job is to manage the road and collect bodies, she had a relationship with Thanos and Agatha. Save Agatha, death is coming for us all.
This was such a great episode. I hope the remaining episodes are closer to this length. I don’t think Billy remembers anything about his time in the hex, aside from the vague feeling that he has a twin out in the world. He didn’t remember Agatha’s name, he heard Ralph Boehner thinking it and then asked, I’m not sure where he first heard about Wanda and Vision, but it seems like he was talking to people about them on Reddit before getting Ralph to meet with him in person, and even then he had no idea they had children. Because he doesn’t have memories from either boy’s life, and the sigil worked on both names, I’m not sure whether William Kaplan is completely gone, though he probably is. We might get confirmation if his memories are ever restored. Going off the trailers, I don’t think Jen and Lilia are dead. There’s still more of them we haven’t seen yet. They were just exiled to the mud like Agatha was.
Lilia was obviously in looking into the future mode when William asked for ‘ahead’. Wikipedia says The Tower means a sudden disruptive revelation, and also potentially destructive change. Lilia says The Tower Reversed. For many Tarot readers, when a card comes out with the picture upside down or ‘reversed’, that means the opposite of the original meaning. Which would be a message of a sudden (gradual?) disruptive (ameliorating?) hiding, and also potentially (definite? Already done?) constructive change? (Or constructive continuation?). I personally think The Tower Reversed are Billy Maximoff’s future, instead of William’s. Poor William gets the destructive change, with no regrowth into a new phase of life after it. Billy gets hidden, and maybe it’s an ameliorating, protective hiding from witches. I’m personally assuming it also works to hide him from Wanda, despite her being the most powerful witch. And thus the tragic Multiverse of Madness. Maybe Billy was in for a very bad time if he was findable by other witches (Agatha?) before Wanda got to him? Or maybe The Tower Reversed is a simpler message of a sudden, disruptive hiding, with the hiding of Billy from Wanda leading to Multiverse of Madness events. The Constructive Change or Continuation for Billy I’m going to interpret as him getting sucked into William’s body, and getting a (second?) chance at real life after being created by Wanda inside a TV episode. I’m assuming Biily’s identity was hidden from himself when he was reborn into William, because Billy is also a witch. Agatha MAY have suspected Teen was Billy at the start, but the show has convinced me she truly attached to the possibility he was her own son Nicholas. She may even be totally lying she ever suspected/guessed Teen of being Billy Maximoff. Is it just me or was the show wildly successful at differentiating the personality of William and Billy, even though it’s the same actor? Obviously that was the intent of the script, the director, and Joe Locke all along, but William came immediately across as SO different from Teen, and such a lovely child, that I was really upset when he died even after knowing him for bare minutes.
My theory about how Billy was able to find all of the information about Agatha, he IS Billy as such he innately has magic, without even knowing it, he cast a spell and it brought up exactly what he was looking for, information about Her
In simplest terms and concept, magick is one's desire and will to achieve something. Billy's magick achieved his desire to acquire information about Agatha.
Also, remember the sigil kept him hidden from all witches. So, Wanda would not be able to find him. If she did, the Darkhold would still be in place. The ultimate goal of her journey was destroying all copies.
I think (or maybe I am just hopeful), Billy threw Lilia and Jen into a different location, then gave Agatha the rope she used to get out of the bog. I think he was just trying to save them from being in danger, far away from Agatha. This means the next trial would just be for the two of them - maybe the psychiatric ward type trial. Then the last trial would be the one where Jen and Lilia join in - the classic witch trial where the Salem Seven appeared.
Spoilers from interviews and trailers… . . . The cast have confirmed that the next episode is Lilia’s trial, the one we’ve seen in the trailers where Lilia is dressed as Glinda, Agatha as the Wicked Witch of the West, Jen as the evil queen from Snow White, and Billy as Maleficent. The most recent mid-season trailer also included a shot of Lilia and Jen looking muddy in a cellar or cave, so they’re probably there now and will be out by the next episode.
@@normaladjacent I am not sure about the interview part since i didn't watch any cast interview, but I did watch the trailers and it makes more sense to me if the psych ward trial comes before Lilia's trial. Because Lilia's trial involves the Salem Seven and it makes more sense for it to be a part of the two-parter finale. Also, there is a scene in the trailer of Jen emerging in Westview, like Agatha. So if she survived, why would she not be present in the psych ward trial? I don't know. It's just a theory.
@@jholmes553 The cast have explicitly said that episode 7 is Lilia’s trial, so it’s confirmed. The other trial appears to be a morgue, some of the trailers include clips of them climbing out of body bags. That could be Billy’s trial, for obvious reasons.
How did he get results so quickly with just one internet session? Well, I mean, he is half-android (on his dad's side), and Vision was once both Jarvis (a sentient AI and the best hacker in existence) and Ultron (a living computer program containing the essence of the Mind Stone) so... he has a knack for computers and stuff!
He could always say the name, there just weren't any witches around to hear him, unless you count himself, and he knows who he is, so it wouldn't prevent him from saying it to himself. Watch the Mid Season Trailer. Jenn and Lilia aren't actually dead.
Rio has a pact with Agatha. She made a deal a devil and likely cannot die. They are eternally connected now. Rio saved Agatha. The other witches, uh oh. Jen and Lilia are going to have a fun ride. Rio owns the road.Housekeeping!
I'm loving this show. I think there is still some revelations coming in the last 3 episodes. Is Rio the true villain of the show or is someone or something else at play here? I could be totally wrong but I think Jenn isn't who she claims to be. That or her character just annoys me.
I feel like Rio may be the villain. Billy came back to life and occupied a dead body. She's been talking about collecting dead bodies for a while. He's stolen one for himself.
I love how lots of people didn't realise Billy was Jewish. I mean come on people, those Jeans were tight enough that you could clearly see that he was.👖😉
