the more times i rewatch and view reactions, the more sure of this i am becoming. this is one of the better episodes of tv i have ever watched simply because of the emotions it pulled out of me.
jac schaeffer knows how to write marvel tv!! and hey black widow was flawed but she had some good ideas for it i think its main flaw was being made too late and studio interference.
You can see why Lilia was the only one dressed as a good character. Her role was that of the hero, and she played her role. Lilia went out in legendary fashion. Props to Patti for making this character so good.
This episode and show are the best thing I've seen since wandavision !!! Petition to have Jac Schaffer to create all things witchy and related to Magic in Marvel !!!! If there's a Scartlet Witch movie or project, it has to go through her for sureeeee !!!!
@@youngty7174 I remember them. This still clears any singular episode. Overall for me until I see the finale, Loki still top dog. Just happy we got this show as well
Just an aside here, but the song at the end is "Time in A Bottle", which they also used for Evan Peters's (Quicksilver) in the X-Men: Days Of Future Past movie in his big scene. Considering he's also on this show, I thought that was interesting.
Salute to the entire Struggle Nation community. This episode was great but we are not going to let that window callback slide. M-Dogg patiently waited and caught Struggle Soldier in 4K admitting he’ll go out the window 😂😂😂😂😂😂
By the way, lilia didnt die. Well she did but she also just went back to her childhood cause thats her power. The ability to control her time and live during any point of her own time. So she just "went back". She is technically immortal
remember her "task" is to see, not to control, and she is not immortal bcs the scene where she is back to her childhood is her last gaps of her timeline and she jumps to that year, thats why she is smiling at that scene bcs she knew how she died (protecting her coven)
That was a really dope episode, I liked how trippy it was and it finally gave an absolute force that is Patti LuPone something substantial to do. And the Rio reveal was kind of long overdue, they weren't subtle with their hints at all lol
Did anyone else notice that you only hear and see 5 bodies getting impaled on the ceiling swords at the end? There are 2 people in the Salem Seven that can transform into flying animals, which is the cicada and raven, so I think those two are still alive.
"I ain't fighting shit. I'm taking all three of the cats..." - You two = 11/11 for that Comedy Riff. (you had me at "Demon Jabberwockies". Snorting is real.)
Yes was waiting for your reactions! Thanks guys! Edit: for real though this was a great episode. This was really written well and the edits to put it all together was awesome! The death of some of the Salem seven was crazy
This and Werewolf by Night are single handedly my two favorite MCU things since Endgame. I hope we get Ghostrider at some point but it needs to be a series. Hopefully a supernatural mystery show with Dani Ketch learning about Johnny and who he is.
Something to think about. Is it just me, or is it interesting that in every single witches trial, it is Billy/William/Teen that is the one to be the first to touch the object that officially STARTS each trial?? I have a feeling there is a special reason for that.
Technically he's the reason they're all there. Without him Agatha would still be in her house believing she's a cop and the others would have never joined her had she asked alone.
A little bit of William is still with Billy. William's room had posters of the Wizard of Oz & Houdini. I think they conjured up the Road. Billy is always the one starting the trial. He's manifesting everything. He's Wanda's son alright.
I'm theorizing that the swords in the ceiling fell in the exact right shape where Lilia will survive. I have a hard time thinking anyone is truly gone even if they die because of all the heavy themes around reincarnation and time in this show.
Well, she needed Agatha to save her from one of them, since it fell on her when she was 'gapping'. But that served Lilia in the finding "What's Missing" part of her Safe Passage. Agatha's card is appropriately the Three of Swords, but I think in Lilia's reading it represents how past grief and lost is currently an obstacle for Lilia in getting where she needs to be to accept her new coven. and decide how she wants to use the time until her death.
i rewatched it and realised: the fall at the beginning of the episode, Lillia looked scared, terrified even. the fall at the end, Lillia was at peace. i loved this episode. i loved her Dr. Manhattan sense of time [for want of a better description]. truly, a great episode.
Greetings Brothas, I totally agree with M-Dogg about how Lilia went out like a Boss! At peace with her choice to get her Sisters to the next level! ✊️😎
Surprisingly this show turned out to be some of the best MCU content, writing, acting. Hopefully, they end it as good as the last two episodes have been.
Nice to see Aubrey has a permanent spot in the MCU now, if yall forgot or just never got around to reading about it specifically, Death and that space lookin dude at the end of the third Thor movie are two of th four beings that created the infinity stones. 👀👀
Although we don't technically see die, Lilia's self-sacrifice was Gambit-level powerful. Jac Schaeffer, the writer and showrunner, needs to be appointed as the head of Marvel's mystic and magic division.
Everything in this episode is straight up lifted from a character called Robin in Agents of SHIELD. You two seriously should reacto AOS. It did Wandavision, LOKI, Agatha before any of these shows existed. You two are huge marvel fans yet you're missing out on insane marvel writing
When she turned The Tower, and what happened, happened... Makes me think that Divination is more powerful than we think - The cards aren't in the world... The world is in the cards. Maybe literally. 🤔
Lilia really wiped the floor with those Salem Seven, With one move... I wanna see what she can do with the Tarot cards, it seems like she can weaponize them.
