I’m so confused because he does remember Tommy so I think he can remember the time as Billy. I think he just doesn’t know how to feel towards his mother after finding out she enslaved a whole city. But in the end he did ask Agatha if his mother really was dead showing he still cares

He doesn’t have memories of her and the time of westview. He’s a blank slate. No hate or empathy cuz he was grown into a family

He doesn’t resent her because he doesn’t remember her. He still has no memories older than the accident. They’ve said it over and over again.

I don't think he even remembers Wanda. All he knows about her is what people have told him (which given the area is overwhelmingly negative) and he has no knowledge of her true motivations or what really happened. He's just trying to distance himself from someone who he's allegedly related to, who is a stranger to him, that he's heard horrible things about. Rebecca raised him lovingly for 3 years though, so to him that is his mom. I think once he learns more about Wanda or meets her his opinion will change. But I don't think he can resent her for "choosing strangers over their family" as Agatha said because he doesn't even remember that happened and has no emotional bond to her.

i agree lilia was the most intriguing character from the beginning, and had a much better pay off than billy and rio imo. but billy is getting better, so hopefully the finale sticks the landing with his story
