Wednesday UPDATE Waffle, Agatha is home but requires investigation after a trip out last weekend. Can you assist with ideas on what you think it might be?
Let’s hope it’s the CV joint then, great pics of drive it day. I insure my 2 old cars with RH specialist insurance, I think it went up £30 total for the pair. Good you are getting the Venga serviced, save a lot of time.
I’m not using Lancaster anymore. My renewal. For a 97 rover 114. Was £336. This year. I only paid £270. For my main Car a 2017. Fabia dsg. I got a better deal with Peter best. £3500 agreed value. For£139
Oh dear! Sounds like a CV joint rather than a wheel bearing. Bearings tend to hum and rumble. The clicking would point to the CV joint. Not too bad a job to do and I would imagine that the parts aren't too pricey. If it has started making a noise, I would change it. You may get a few hundred miles out of it by stuffing it with grease but it will almost certainly stop CV'ing quite soon.
I hope she's back on the road at not too higher cost to your wallet Ric. Combined, my Atra and my wife's Ibiza insurance went up £300 last year with no changes 😢. 1978 hmm I was 11/12 years old 😢
