Age of Empires 4 ALL Campaign Cinematics 

I personally couldn't care less about the history channel-like videos of IV, takes me out of the game and feels like I'm suddenly watching youtube; I prefer the stories of II by a huge margin

Honestly I hate this. That female voice is like driving with Waze. AoE 4 Cinematics is just lazy with the simple reading of a generic female drive-assistance voice.

As someone who's only played 2 as a kid and now 4 as an adult (as many others I'd assume); are you saying all 4 games are the same campaign just "re-made"?

@@jjrj8568 I mean yes and no. 2 is great for nostalgia and gameplay. But you can't diss these videos especially when compared to a AOE2; when a company of underpaid workers likely wrote or copied shit from textbooks. That's so dumb! Imagine if AOE4 came out today and had the same exact text scripts. People would be fucking pissed! It literally feels like the History Channel like you said, but it is so much more appreciated when most triple AAA titles don't even do half this.

Honestly, I like the new direction. A lot of the information in this is well researched and having a lot of historical accuracy is a good thing in a game like this. I do miss the firsthand accounts and character driven stories of the previous games though. For all their inaccuracies, it was very immersive for four year old me and really sparked my interest in history. Overall though, I love everything they've done with this game, and I'm definitely going to share the experience with my kids like my father did with me when the time comes.

I upgraded my AOE4 to the deluxe version purely because of the quality of the cinematic. AOE4 is one of the best game I have bought.

Not really. Today's TV programs are dumbed down, but if you really enjoy History I suggest Kenneth Clark's Civilization.

Hard disagree. It's so great to see actual history in a game and is one of the biggest appeals of the genre. These videos are awesome.

4 feels much better
