If you go for that strategy of using Keeps to produce your villagers, build one in the Aera of Influence of your Mosques so it gets the research speed and have it do the universal upgrades for all the keeps like the Village Fortress, the Boiling Oil, ect.

You can alternatively build a extra mosque next to the first keep if it is forward. That's not very expensive at all and the number of scholars in any _particular_ mosque doesn't matter for the research speed.

mosque network extends to all built mosques. so get that mosque wifi on a forward keep and just enjoy. probably need a second one to research the boiling oil

There needs to be an animation with siege weapons transforming into siege mode. And it should be possible to stop it. And maybe some civ could have wheels on onagers so that they can be moved in siege mode but would be slower and perhaps not fire as far.

Apart from the great game by Fitzbro, who succeeded by chance, it is pretty obvious that the Mongols should be buffed. Tell me how many high level games have been lost by the Mongols. I watched 100 games, and they lost once. AoE4 is biased.
