Beautiful how you have adapted the names of the game to the real civilizations! Only on one I do not agree, I am Italian and in the Italian civilization I see much more the Milanese instead of the Venetians.
@@DomySilv It could be also the Genoan Republic since their Pavise Crossbowmen UU is “Genoan”. If it was really the Venetians, I think the UU could be the Stradiot or an galley line UU.
@@DomySilv I appreciate the effort but they did it kinda wrong, most of the civs have generic names because they represent different periods of those cultures (or even different cultures). The Celts for example do not represent "Celtic tribes" but also the Kingdom of Scotland, the Irish, etc. or the Saracens, who do not represent the Abbasid Dynasty, but rather generic "desert" cultures (Arabs, Amazigh and even the already existent Turks), kingdoms, characters, they are used to represent Saladin's (Ayyubid Dynasty) army, Nur ad-Din's (Zengid Dynasty), Yusuf al-Mu'taman (Banu Hud), etc. That's way most of them are used interchangeably in different campaigns (and also because of mechanics, graphics, etc.).
@@danielvarga8178 dude the Mongolian throat singing scared the absolute fuck out of me as a kid lol. something about the voices sounded so robotic. now, i love mongolian throat singing haha
@@lornithorynque9281I dunno. Sounds pretty cheerful and happy. Not exactly a theme I feel fitting for the bloodthirsty civilization that the Aztecs were. _(but that's just my opinion)_
@@MrDibara To me it sounds majestic and kinda nostalgic, I think it fits with their campaign. Having a violent religion doesn't mean they were all psychokillers tho😅 Europe in that era also had their own human sacrifices and skull piling
It's so sad, hear the chilling vibes of some Civilizations like Vikings, Huns, Goths that make players should feel the chill, cold, and fear to the bone into just some general intro without make them feel the spirit of their own civz
The Celtics anthem makes me want to fight for a free kingdom, besides portugueses anthem looks like that i died bravery fighting for my beloved homeland.
I remember when I was like 10 or so I used to go to The history menu and go through The civ entries just to listen The jingles. I did that as fast as possible sometimes.
Old british theme is an eargasm, so melodic and danceable with such juicy harpsichord, new version is good too but compared to the old one it sounds flat, wish there was an extended version of the old record
@@noimalmawhy you cant just agree that he is right, you can see most of the ppl in the comment section say the same. Why you gotta invent some bs argument, never understood these type of ppl.
@@raulcalimann7738 he is right though. For game about history even its music should be historically appropriate. Also just because a lot people say something is good, doesn't always mean it's good.
Pretty much all of the Old themes are better than the new ones except for the Mongols, Persian, Saracens which is better and the Celts, French, which is pretty much the same.
@@arthurhunter774 turkic is a more accurate description. Turks date back to the Asian Huns and the proto turkic period. We Turks came westwards, mostly from Samarkand, while Bulgarians came first from Central Asia and then from the Black Sea. The symbol you are talking about was the most popular group of BOZOK and ÜCOK called KAYI tribe of the Turks and of course we are proud of their banners.
