If you've watched my speedruns before, I usually do it without commentary. Do you prefer it with some commentary or without? I won't be offended if you say without!
I enjoyed the commentary with the explanations of the strats! If you're worried, maybe upload two versions, one just gameplay and the other commentated?

It really helps if you use the range mods for castles, towers and tcs for most campaigns. And yes commentary is great, makes it your own special screening! Great play!

@@silversrayliegh5924 It never was a thing in the original AoE. It was always a judgment call, particularly where to place your tower and ran the risk of placing it outside the line of fire and wasting your resources. I do think it's kind of bullshit to see it on high rated games, tournament games. It's a very small thing, but early on it could definitely matter
@@synergygaming65 Yes I know, I've been playing aoe for about 20+ years. Also grid lines have been showing tiles for a while in AOE2 DE. So why would you not use tools to your advantage. End of the day it is still just a game.
Nice work, you're very fast! When I play campaigns I reminisce on playing them as a kid and play super slow and gather up a ton of resources for no good reason and mass up a massive army even tho it's not even necessary. :)
Enjoying the commentary- you have a good voice! Out of interest why not on Definitive Edition? (I'm guessing the speedrun would be very different?) Blooper are hilarious!

Commentary is great! Little note, how can you kill a castle? I am just freaking out everytime someone tries to kill a building or a ship and consider it to be my life mission to eradicate this semantic nonsense! 😅
