Oh man, that frost was an absolute disaster. Poor micro left the Norse military smacking guys with 99% resist, meanwhile you had 5 or 6 guys show up late to the party and they almost completely wiped him without getting attacked back
I think you talking while you play is the better move. Just keep going and you’ll get better, a lot of creators start off bad and get better. And you’re not bad at it, just new.
So weird seeing these small differences. You couldn't make Cheiroballistae into heroes before. And the implode god power didnt look SO GOD DAMN COOL before either
@@ctlprogrammer you can think implode like building execution. you damage each building by x amount, say 2000 hp than use implode so 5 build with 2000 hp = 5 building loss.
Do you remember Star Wars: Galactic Battlegrounds? It was basically AOE but with a Star Wars skin. I genuinely hope they remake that game, and a bunch of other games just like it based on various franchises. Westeros for example
Good to see Oceanus getting some love. People used to claim he sucked but I liked to choose him for his unique armoury upgrades alone, let alone having a flying myth unit that can heal your units
I always went Oceanus or Theia just to have a flying scout. I love playing matched on maps with natural walls and chokepoints so having something that can just fly over them and scout the whole map is nice.
I feel like you could refine this into a fast age 3 with markets and then just never worry about gold on the map really at all by using the lush movement speed for your caravans. So from there you could focus all your villagers on wood and food and be smashing through things. Only issue I feel would be watching your population cap.
So when he used frost, all of his units continued to attack the heavily armored units doing zero damage, while your reinforcements came in and cleaned him up. His god power worked completely against him. That's when you snowballed the game and won.
Yeah, every game I have seen that god power is used completely wrong. I can only think of two ways to use it: - Freeze half the army, take out the other half - Freeze whole army, siege their city / training buildings
freeze was offcenter. He froze about 3/4th of your units, and his units were attacking your frozen, indestructable units while your living ones were picking his off. your popsicles actually tanked for your other units. This is why frozen is far less of a defensive power than it is for a push into a base
Implode is beautiful, more than i hoped for. surprised you never dropped an eco building on the frontline with his 2nd TC, you spent a long time there and had some vil's nearby.
I love this game. I played it yesterday and clocked 9 hours of playtime. I have no clue why the playtest lasted so long (i play 14:30 - 23:30 local time) I really realized how much my memories of AOM are tinted. I was "disappointed" by the graphics since it looks like aom did in my memories :D
They initially only extended it by an hour because there were issues at the beginning of the test but then due to the feedback extended it until midnight GMT :)
I was today years old when I found out of this game I knew life would get better that atomic bomb was crazy the way the horses basically grab on to the ground is insane !!!! I want this game yo !!
I think given the farming mechanic of the villagers they could have a movement speed penalty at the start of say 10%, then include a 10% move speed bonus in the tech that increases the villager health and damage.
I like the textures of the farms, however the Gaia influence on the ground... Definitely needs to be more kinds of greens with a shade of black, brown and some other nature colors. It really looks like untextered

Bro rushing mythic with gaia is crazy fast, getting it 12ish minutes and im not even good at the game. Cant wait to see pro players go fast implosion/tartarian gate. Its gonna be bonkers
I think playing and recording sound at the same time is a better experience for the viewer, don't worry about filling in every moment of gameplay with talk outside of the game and just focus on playing well and winning. I would watch that kind of content alot more. Do you stream your games at all anywhere?
The new lush buff seems good, but you can't use it in the most important situation, that is during an attack, so Oranos is still better with Hyperion for Heroic age and regeneration for heroes. You realy should try using arcuses more, they are great anti-infantry, great range, perfect hero candidates
If you want to do good in ranked o suggest to you try the useful clicks technique, sometimes you hotkey and click uselessly and that wastes time that could be spent more intelligently
Stress tess giving Gaia free hero citizens, they basically get +2 more villagers and make all of them (6 in total worth) immune to rushes by Classical Age myth units. This is broken. Plus Atlantean oracles gather favor too insanely fast at the beginning.
starting out with 2 hero citizens on Gaia still feels way too broken, even with their slightly decreased collection rate compared to the original. Sure you were the better player here, but the economic lead you got early on was insane
Can anyone verify if "tactical pause" is available in single-player matches and campaigns? By this, I mean the ability to pause, think, strategize, coordinate, and issue commands while STILL paused. AoE 1, 2, 3, and AoM had this functionality but it was removed with AoE 4.
Nice game still can’t get behind the new oracle favour generation it felt so fragile and even less reliable than Norse favour (if you don’t fight you don’t get favour and sometimes little when you fight and oracle felt much early but felt like it felt off lategame maybe I should have trained more oracles idk)
@@FloosWorld_AoE which was a good thing. in the original game they were a one time thing that was great to turn a tide of battle or give you boost to your eco or give your a special unit. hell the china and Atlantean's had god power's that multiple charges of a god power. now it gives all the pantheons the abilty to keep using there god' power's by use favor to use it. (to note the more powerful a god power is the more it cost to reuse it, like meteorite god power cost 350 favor to recast so be careful. this go's for all the heavy hitting god power's)
Very interestingly, while wonder age doesn't really function like a normal age. In game's bindings - there is an unused binding for 5th god power slot. in Classic, you would never, under any circumstance have 5 active god power slots

Oof the new gaia lush is so goddamn hideous.. It used to be this flowery soft grassy texture, now its just oversaturated green ooze with tentacles in it..
На данный момент Не нравится: 1) Зелёный цвет земли - слишком насыщенный и яркий - оригинал был лучше, земля в принципе выглядит не доработанной, не хватает объёма земли и других оттенков, Вот если бы они смешали с коричневыми корнями - было бы уже лучше на порядок. 2) Через чур и с перебором "чистые" звуки ударов по зданиям/воротам/юнитам , настолько до скрипа чистые, что они очень выбиваются из общей массы в отличии от остальных звуков - оригинал был лучше. Они банально даже на фоне оригинала очень проигрывают, не совсем понимаю а нужно ли было эти звуки вообще менять?? ,Оригинал был ведь очень хорош, АОМ в принципе одна из лучших игр для своего года в плане звуков, звукорежиссер у игры потрясающе справился со своей работой, Этот момент игры не требовал переделки. 3) Корнивора - Слишком яркий зелёный цвет, как будто мультяшный 4) Мурмилло - в оригинале выглядят лучше, тут их анимация бега не красивая, как будто топорная, с Турма - аналогичная ситуация 5) Вообще в целом - раньше в оригинале армия Атлантиды хорошо читалась и выделялась, а тут она словно неотличима от любого другого бога Греков 6) Анимация нового "взрыва" - плохая, в оригинале пока что лучше 7) Анимация Лечения, ауры героя - всё плохо. Очень не доработано 8) Почему то все монстры не статные, с выпрямленной спиной - а какие то горбатые, кривоногие, и низкие как будто гномы. Нету ни единого монстра который понравился бы больше чем в оригинале. Все монстры выполнены плохо, и я сомневаюсь что они это исправят (((
