In this video I show you how to get an age time of less than 4 minutes. ( I got 3:06 in this video. ) I also go into what you should be doing after you age. Please comment if you want me to make videos on different game modes or to go more in depth on matchups.
Some tips:
If you are wondering how I drop off my fishing ships and put them back to work:
1. Use the "one-click-garrison" in the settings
2. hover your mouse where the fishing ships icon would be when you select a dock
3. Spam the idle villager hotkey and the fishing ship icon to quickly cycle through your docks and ungarrison your fishing ships
Hotkeys:
I set up my hotkeys for creating units as a grid to make them easy to remember. So "Q" would be used for the first unit and "W" would be used for the second. It takes a while to set up, but it is worth it if you want to play faster. My Idle villager hotkey is set to space.
General Tips:
- Always use your resources. If you have resources stocked up, those are resources that are not currently being used to further a lead.
- Don't focus so much on microing units, rather you need to make sure you follow the first tip and maximize your economy.
- Check your map. Looking at your map every 5 seconds will make sure your army is not surprised when you are not paying attention.
- In Zelda you should always be upgrading your units. I have had too many games where a player still has medium units with no armory upgrades 20 minutes into the game.
