Fitz and Simmons were implying that it took everybody else much longer to get down to the sub bay than it should have, and that they inexplicably couldn't communicate with anybody else during that period. Clearly they'd been intercepted and replaced on their way to Fitz-Simmons.

They also said something about gas..so I assume there was some sort of knock out gas..or I misinterpreted as I only watched it once.

Vishal Venkat I thought his injection wasn't worn off yet but you have a point unless what really happened was coulson was switched first then him and Mack carried made past and area where lmd Mack swapped and mace couldn't fight back anyway or they did switch mace before they arrived so lmd mace and lmd coulson had an easy time switching out Mack they just over powered him

snapgab I don't think so. Fitz talks about how it was light when they went in and dark when they came out. What does the framework do? Gives people what they want to keep them busy. Fitz and Simmons start clocking on to there being a patch of unaccounted time and suddenly there's 4 LMDs in base to focus on? That's suspect. It also doesn't make sense as to why Jemma herself would t be replaced - she IS one of the top operatives at Shield who is supposed to have been replaced according to Aida! I think Eric is spot on and the next few episodes will be taking place in the framework.

Quang Anh Vu Oh yeah I had a whole discussion and came up with a theory. Fitz is an LMD and changed the LMD detector to 4 LMD's in order to frame all 4 (Daisy, Mack, Mace & Coulson) in order to trick Simmons in to believing, for example that all including Daisy is an LMD when she actually might not.

Jack I think if it's fitz what happened was that Fitz was the 4th lmd detected but the photo didn't show him is all. I think Daisy is an LMD bc in the promo she had a rifle even though she's supposed to have powers. she was also separated but didn't question the coms.

little lionman I actually discussed this on another page and someone brought that up and ideas have gone around that perhaps (If Daisy isn't an LMD) then an LMD will confiscate them so she can't Quake anything. One detail that immediately made me believe Daisy is human is when they all met up. When all of the agents met up before heading back Daisy made a small reaction to the knife that was thrown on her shoulder by the Superior. But you have to realise if her LMD was swapped out it wouldn't be necessary considering no one was even aware about her being stabbed yet she still reacted to it.

Hufflepuffed how is he being dumb though? he's right to point out how many times has the shit they create come back to bite them all in the ass, this isn't the first time either. the team tends to get really tunnel vision without thinking of larger implications and Mack has seen that happen and been on the receiving end of when shit goes down. and anyways, everyone seems to always bring up Ultron yet I don't see people rushing to Tony Stark's defense, he did what Fitz did, nobody is supporting him, in fact everyone, even the team, tends to use the Ultron thing as an example. and it's hypocrisy.

BetaArtemis I just dont like Macks logic of, someone bad can get a hold of new technology so why pursue it. I just feel like hes always in a pissy mood too. But I'm not saying Fitz was right to keep secrets from the team. That was ultimately both Fitz and Starks flaw is that they didnt inform the team of what they were doing. Moreso fitz cuz him and Radcliffe were operating illegaly at the time, but also Stark couldve told Thor and Cap exactly what he was planning on doing with the staff.

Hufflepuffed but Mack also wasn't saying you shouldn't pursue new tech but rather the implications and dangers. Fitz and many others in the science side tend to always let their curiosity take over and throw caution to the wind when they know there are dangers and at times they plow right through the big neon keep out sign anyways. Mack has been on the team long to enough to have seen how exactly that path and way of thinking has led them to all the troubles they've had over the years. And as you pointed out, the secret keeping, that's another problem that goes along with what Mack was trying to address. when you keep secrets and just do it your way, you aren't listening to other opinions and you aren't clearly thinking of the implications. that can blind you from seeing the clear danger. Fitz was essentially off just doing his own thing without really consulting anyone else or run by anyone who maybe would have told him no this is a bad idea. And again, Mack isn't saying Fitz is a bad person, he doesn't think that, he knows Fitz has a good heart, but he isn't wrong that a lot of this could have been avoided if Fitz had done things differently. it's a harsh truth but someone needs to say it. Fitz has fiddled around with things that left lasting consequences for others and sometimes having good intentions alone doesn't change that.

Without that curiousity we would still be in the stone age. "Think of implications" and then what? Every invention can be misused, if we just stop searching and inventing, we might as well go back to before we had electricity. Mack wouldnt eben be alive to ask these questions without people following their curiosity. People sitting on computers and using the internet, going to modern doctors etc. talking about how we shouldn't pursue certain scientific advancements really crack me up.

Jochen Schütz nobody said you can't be curious, nobody said you can't make advancements, but there's a reason when we make advancements, we do it in a way that people all agree, that people can discuss the implications and have everyone understand and give their opinions, that's how modern advancements are done - what Fitz was doing was in secret, especially the stuff with Aida, esepcially when it was illegal, when they had already seen the results from Ultron. no one is literally saying you can't advance, but there's a line between advancing and generally being secretive and stupid. if Fitz had been open with others, gone through the process of talking it out and having everyone understand, it'd be different. curiosity is a good thing, it is how we advance, but when science is mixed with secrecy and non-transparency, that isn't good, especially not science that you have already seen it happen once before bitting you in the ass.
