Just give Henry Simmons the Emmy already, that scene with him, Hope and Elena as she's fading away gets me every time. It's predates Avengers "I dont wanna go" scene, and every time I see it, it breaks me inside.

I got to hand it to them, considering how much they nit-picked everything in the beginning, I did NOT believe the normies would make it to season 5 but here they are. Bravo!

I wouldn't be against a Daisy/Robbie pairing. It's interesting how Daisy is the one telling Fitz not to blame himself for things beyond his control, concerning how the previous season ended with her doing the same. It shows how much she's grown since then. Radcliffe's exit was perfect.

The Ghost Rider and Quake team up was badass.

One word to describe that Radcliffe scene: 'bittersweet'. Poor chap was just trying to make the world better, but unfortunately got corrupted by the Darkhold that made him turn everything worse then rightfully redeemed himself towards the end. I hope they do the next season's title opening with space background! THIS. FRICKEN. SHOW.

Season 5 came out 2017 to 2018. It leads up to Infinity War. It's personally my favorite season

(If anyone hasn't seen all the movies and is confused, the scene they're talking about isn't in "Captain Marvel", it's from "Spiderman Far From Home".

I wouldn't necessarily expect the next two seasons connect strongly with the wider MCU. If you're looking for a massive tie in, you'll be disappointed.

Honestly, I thought "There is no way they can possibly top this season, so I'm going to see it to the end, but I'll probably stop after that" I was right about them not topping the season, but when the episode ended with Coulson in space I literally went "WTF HAPPENED IN BETWEEN?!!!" In any other show, this would be absolutely lame. The show goes from spy shit to alien powers to actual aliens to a demon, robots, and the matrix, and now they're in space. You could not do this with any other show, this one is the only one where that progression actually makes sense. In fact when I described that progression to my mother, in that same manner, she literally said "So it gets lame." This is the only show where they can do that and I've got to give them props for it

Still the best season of the show. S5 has some good stuff too, but it's so oppressively dark I actually felt myself losing interest through depression/apathy. Ward, Lincoln, Robbie. Daisy really does have the worst luck with relationships, but perhaps that's her sacrifice to keep death's icy grip far away from Phillinda, FitzSimmons and MackLena.
