may was smiling in almost the hole episode to foreshadow her LMD self

the reason Daisy jumped was because she'd absorbed too much quakes and she needed to release

daisy did the jump because she was absorbing the quake and then release it the force was so large that why she jumped...

quake had absorbed all the vibration from the ground and needed to release it. the release blasted her into the air. she didn't jump on purpose.

Pretty sure we weren't supposed to pay much attention to Daisy's Security level and it was more a joke made by Fitz in terms of the new color system. As it's been said a few times in the comments, Daisy absorbed too much Seismic activity and had to expel it which caused her to fly into the air.

Daisy's behavior reminded me of Charles Bronson's reaction to his fear of being buried alive in The Great Escape...total panic with the need to get outside. It was a total panic attack.

She was absorbing all those quakes throughout the whole process ...she needed to release the built up energy and needed to go outside as not to level the building she was under ... that's why she went so high cause she had a lot of juice ...when she landed notice how she looked less like she wanted to blow chunks

The showrunners said this season is separated into three parts. So theres gonna be another story arc after LMD.

You guys forgot how at the beginning of this season they talked about how Simmons had created a whole color code system that NO ONE understands except for Simmons.

Throughout that final scene Daisy was absorbing the seismic energy being released in the area to protect the team setting up the magnet from earthquakes. Once there were in the clear, containing that energy became too much for her so she went outside to release that energy in a safe way, which is why you can see her releasing waves until she faces the camera in the air and falls back down.

The Darkhold is the overarching villain in this season, spilt into the Eli/Ghostrider mini arc and the LMD mini arc. They are really underestimating that book by thinking of it as a complicated tool. Pretty sure that the book thinks of the people that read it as complicated tools too. Really impressed with Radcliffe for not being tempted by it last episode, I thought was just the kind of schmuck to get sucked in by it.

I was waiting for it :D They are coming back January 10. I love this easter egg about Daisy being director of Shield, plus I think that blue badge can means level 10 (in the comics only Daisy, Fury and probably Romanoff have such a high level of access). I'm excited because Yoyo gets spin-off, only 6 episodes. And fuck I liked Nathanson. May was kidnapped in the middle episode- she went for Aida and since then began to smile. Daisy jumped because it absorbed too much of earthquakes and had to get rid of this somehow.

Fact: Agent Koenig reference was definitely intentional. Prediction: Maybe Fury's SHIELD created a version of LMDs and thought they were too problematic and buried the tech (kind of like Pym and the Pym particle research). Now Radcliffe made an updated/different version.

The blue security clearance was a joke. The fact that all the security levels have colours now is a callback joke. They've discussed how incomprehensible the colour system is a couple of times. And Daisy was absorbing the seismic energy to prevent the earthquakes and she needed to release that energy.

Didn't you hear what Daisy said? Daisy said that she absorbed too much shockwaves that she had to release it somewhere. So rather into the ground, she shot herself into the air using and releasing the extra absorbed shockwave until it ran out.

Finally SHIELD Director Mace gets the respect he deserves from Coulson and his team.

I think his suit looked like that because I think he was once Captain America, or some similar hero, and Daisy jumping in the air was to get her to the press, but it makes sense. If the ground is shaking and you want to get away, there is only up

Think may was taken this episode when may was sent to pick up ada at the beginning. That's why may in the closet had blood on her that ada hadn't had time to clean up yet, she didn't have time before leaving. The demon core is a real uranium core that killed some nuclear scientists in several accidents.

at the beginning of the episode coulson said to may sorry about babysitting duty when may was sent on her own to go get aida. daisy had absorbed all the quakes and had to release the pent up energy. there is an online show with mack and yoyo called slingshot starting next week.

Quake was absorbing all the extra dimensional quakes spilling over into their dimension so she had to run out and quake it off.

I don't know if you guys know yet, since you watched the Canadian showing, but there is a mini series starting Dec 13 for Yoyo. Agents of SHIELD Slingshot.

She was absorbing the quake but after a point she couldn't hold it any longer so she jumped to relieve all that Quake energy.

I had no clue it was May in the room at the end. Was not expecting it. But I remember, from the beginning of the episode, thinking May was a little more smiley than usual. Well, May's level of smiling anyway 😂 I think Ada must've switched Mays after making the brain.

In the previous episode guys May was asked to go to observe Aida by Coulson & the director. I think that is when Aida switched her. Yes, May in this episode was a L.M.D., you can tell she is acting strange. Also guys they did a miniseries on line during last year's season with Lincoln & Simmons.

Daisy jumped really high because she wasn't just near the quakes, she was absorbing them to prevent the building from collapsing. Her jumping really high was just her expelling all of the quake-ness she absorbed inside the building.

Daisy was absorbing the vibrational energy/quakes that was caused by Eli pulling matter from another dimension (he was not "creating matter from nothing" but he was unknowingly stealing matter from another dimension to materialize all the stuff he was materializing.), all that vibrational energy kept building up and Quake was absorbing it and it was too much, she had to release it in some way or it would kill her. Daisy had to release all that absorbed energy which she did, with a focused wave blasts from her hand that propelled her up into the air....

As others have said, Daisy had been absorbing as much of the quakes as she could to prevent them from damaging the machine AIDA was working on. Once that was done, she had to release all of that stored energy somewhere.

Im assuming Agent May was changed when she was sent to get Aida at the beginning of this episode. May was sent to get Aida from the compound to help in the assault on Eli's warehouse.Also, I looked it up, in the comics Quake does become the Director of Shield at one point when Fury retired. So the comic line was a great reference imho.

Can you let them know that Quake jumped because because she herself and the gauntlets were absorbing the quakes, it was her release of the stored energy.

In the series that used to be in Netflix called avengers earth mightiest heroes I don't know if it's based off of the comics but Ultron kidnaps the avengers and makes lmds of the avengers so I think maybe Ultron got a tiny bit of her new BRAIN but it's just a theory

Coulson sent May to pick up Aida and Radcliff. That's when the switch was made. Also, remember that Radcliff had the detailed scans of May's brain from when they treated her for the "ghost virus". That's probably what Aida used as a base template for the May LMD's brain. This explains why it 1) HAD to be May, 2) why it's ONLY May (so far), and 3) puts a limit on her ability to replace people. She can't just say "oh, I want to replace Yo-yo" and do so, she needs a scan of her brain. That said, remember the holographic thing from episode 1 that Fitz was making. The one Fitz said had a scan of Jemma's brain......

I like that "Secret Invasion" vibe at the end. Instead of Skrulls, they use LMD for that. Kinda make sense too since we are after Civil War event. Now that I think about it, Thor Ragnarok with Planet Hulk mixed in occur within the same period of time too. They follow the comic events in chronology.

I think they will explore the main issues with AI that scientist debate today. I think Aida's motives and what she does will ultimately be something she was made to do. She was created to be the shield, protect people but as an AI she took the idea to extreme and deduced that the best way to protect people is to lock them up in safe space and monitor at all times. And she knows that she has to do in secret otherwise people would stop her from providing the ultimate safety they asked for.

The reason Daisy jumped so high is because she was absorbing the quakes that were coming from Eli's work, and she released it all at once, causing her to fly so high before falling back down.

So Aida could be another of those A.I.s who perceives and carries out their purpose in a warped way (maybe due to the Darkhold.) She is "the S.H.I.E.L.D" and takes that to mean replace them all with LMDs and keep them safe as she views it.

Daisy was absorbing the earthquakes and had to release the energy from them, that's why she pulled a Team Rocket. She had to get rid of all that excess energy. And yes, it also served the plot in bringing Daisy back into SHIELD.

I think that Ada switched the real May with the LMD when she was supposed to look after her after they brought May back to life and if that is the case girl has been there for a long as time. But it could also be like you said that the brain Aida made was for the new LMD/May.

The blue lanyard is a part of the new level system for shield. Instead of levels 1-9, they have a 'rainbow' system with colours which Fitz + Simmons have poked fun at in previous eps. Different colours can do specific things - if ur all the colours, you can do everything; one colour can't do much. The point is, it's not very clear and pretty rubbish, so Fitz was making fun of it when he said he didn't know what blue meant.

I think the colour badges is explained in your reactions, no one has no idea what the colours mean. So blue is literally just a colour to them, which is why they reacted in that way

Yeah, Mace changed it from level 7 etc. to colors so that "no one is above anyone else." It was mentioned at the beginning of the season, and everyone was already confused, that's why Fitz said no one knows what level blue means.

Daisy Johnson has a level 10 clearance in the comics. apart from Fury and Black Widow nobody has that high of a security clearance within S.H.I.E.L.D.

in comics Nick Fury and Daisy Johnson had level 10....even when Maria Hill take Shield she was lower level than Fury or Daisy.

May seemed like May bitching about having to drive around a robot. My guess is she swap her out then and the droid was on the last mission.
