Anime: Aggretsuko Episode: season 2 episode 5. All the credits goes to Netflix and Sanrio. Other Aggretsuko songs: • Aggretsuko - Director ... • Aggretsuko - Date song
Couldn't have explained his character myself, there's so many troupes in this show. I think he's supposed to be the timid new hire's character arch, while like Mr. Ton is the shoddy boss character arch
The song only he can sing was Industrial. Nobody rolls that way Retsuko - Death Metal Fenneko - Classical (?) Haida - Punk Rock Tone - Rap Anai - Hardbass / Industrial Washimi / Stone gurl - Karaoke
@@grayone7539 yes and no. Rap is less of a genre and more of a technique. He is rapping, but the genre of the music is industrial (hardstyle if you want to be a stickler). Hes certainly doing more than just rapping, as the intro shows him speaking through distortion before his rap which is common in a lot of genres that lean heavily toward a darker and colder tone.
0:00-0:15: After watching Season 4 Episode 6, this moment hits differently. Kabae was the only person to get through to Anai, and encouraged him to pursue his passion & to open up to others. And he probably looked up to Kabae as a mother figure. If it weren’t for her, he wouldn’t have grown as a character. So watching him tear up & react angrily after Kabae resigned, was a heartbreaking sight to see.
0:55 "Change your method and you can change the world, that's what I believe." Sucks the subtitles didn't translate what he actually sang, cause that lyrics is important to show his character
@@f.nietzsche620 Kabae le dieron un increíble desarrollo de personaje en la temporada 2, ya no era más una señora chismosa, se profundizó mucho en ella y su transfondo para al final darte cuenta que tiene un corazón de oro.
Hot damn. I'm glad I got curious what the Japanese version of this sounded like. The English VA is great, but the Japanese VA is straight fucking fire.
Thanks for uploading the japanese dub, bro. It has more *flow* . I just wish they would subtitle the song as it is in japanese - the english subtitles have the lyrics of the english dub song. The english dub has alright lyrics, but the japanese lyrics feel like they have a better pay up for the build up of the song.

@@ryanphoenix2460 do you want the romanized lyrics or the translation? Because the first is a bit annoying to get, and the second ends missing part of the flow because of how English works. In my opinion it sounds less stupid, since it doesn't have something quite like the awful "Boom! He solved this riddle!" or the weird "Give 'em all treat to masticate" Roughly, I think it translates like this: K: What do you think? A: I can't look It's so bad I can't even look K: Then, what'll we do? A: Don't be scared And just mixing the food Turn up the fire! Add heat! Water! Add the sauce at the right time Is a requisite Be delicate! Add spice and flavour Look at the recipe on the browser My technique changes the world That is what I believe in!
honestly this scene is my favorite in the series i dunno why, the movements Anai makes and the song itself is just really cool, i can't help but rewatch i feel like it shows Anai's more,, eccentric side in a way with his movements?? i don't know

"I'm glad he's redeemed!" He was never punished for his awful actions and doesn't even apologize. He is later on shoved as a background character, and the writers never further with him cus well that's the end of his arc. He only did what.. cook great food and made a catchy song? His personality still sucks lmao. Never felt bad. He is punchable whenever I see him.
The way I see Anai is from the outside perspective on how usually Japanese salary men are treated. Overworked, stressed and if shown any weakness, bowled over. Now I know that isn't in every case, but Anai is a young and anxious man that has been thrust into what he's been probably told is a cruel and backstabbing environment. So tge guy just went full bunker mode in terms of the defenses he had. He was scared, and he didn't know what else to do. Hes still got his defenses up in a way, they just aren't as aggressive.
Something that i really like is that it was the Hippo (i forgot her name) motherly attitude that help Anai, she was seen as annoy by everyone else but she knew how to comfort the new recruit into feeling like a part of the team
I really hated Anai before but after this rap and his character development,he's not that bad. I think he just has a bad habit of misunderstanding people a lot and constantly thinking that they're threatening him, therefore he did the same to them but thanks to Kabae,he's now more open and friendly to others
Anai symbolized the crushing anxiety of freshly graduated college students that are thrusted into the harsh realities of the corporate landscape. on the outside they show an eager overenthusiastic people pleasing tendencies but have this constant fear of the expectations thrown at them so any small perceived slight is considered a threat making them defensively hostile. other than that making Anai a badger was very fitting for his introduction to the series, badgers will attack anything that dares to look at them funny and will disregard their own lives to drive off anything that moves
My interpretation of it is that Anai is supposed to represent 20-somethings who have just finished college. Young people often have trouble navigating the adult professional world because for many it is the first time in their lives they are being criticized by adults who are not their parents or family. Kabae recognizes this because she has children and encourages him to show his worth to the coworkers who can't stand him. Like most people eventually do Anai relaxes and once he shows his coworkers that he is a very good cook he is accepted as one of the group. I really liked his his arc I thought it was very realistic and satisfying.
마리 i said “as” the original not “than” the original. I know this is the original audio lolol. If it was not clear i ment to say that i like this version more.
They did had a nice moment when Kabae and Anai first met. Since Anai is very insecure and self aware of his flaws and mistakes, having a sweet and overbearing mother type of person seemed to be his thing. It could mean he was on very good and close terms with his own mother and it stopped him from being enemies or hating Kabae which I find sweet. And funny frick me that scene with Tsunoda was hilarious
we need an extended version, WE need an extended version, WE NEED an extended version, WE NEED an EXTENDED version, WE NEED AN EXTENDED VERSION, *WE NEED AN EXTENDED VERSION*
He was a workplace bully at the beginning of the season, and I was waiting for someone to punch some sense into him, but I love how his character progressed on his own, without the need for violence. I can understand what made him that way: he was young, scared of entering adulthood, and had likely read tons of stories about workplace harassment online. He likely acted in accordance to some online advice he'd read (don't do more than your position asks of you, handle all conflicts via emails, don't let senior workers mistreat you, stuff like that), but his anxiety made every single correction, no matter how kind, feel like a threat to him. He tried so hard to protect himself, he became a threat to others. Thankfully, a mature adult with parenting experience was present to help the guy feel more welcome and more confident, and he mellowed out significantly after all that stress was off his shoulders. I've seen people complain that Anai got off to easily and faced no consequences for his actions, but in a workplace setting, defusing a conflict without letting it escalate is the best case scenario. No one got fired that season, the problem worker dropped his bad behaviour, and that's a positive outcome for everyone. I doubt anyone at the office sans Kabae are ever going to become close friends with him, but they don't have to, Anai has his own life, and is doing well (I have just started season 5, so no further analysis from me, things might change with him later on).
When I first saw this I was definitely not expecting this to be the style of music he'd go for. Then remembered how in a way it's the premise of the show and promptly hated myself a bit.
