As my eyes age, it is getting harder and harder to see the front sight crisply for optimal accuracy. In this video I will be fitting the Crimson Trace LG207 to my ultralight S&W Titanium 41 mag and shooting the first shots by co-witnessing the laser to the front sight. Doing this you will be center target with your first shots as long as your front sight is correct.

I hear you! I’m 48 and started wearing cheaters about a year ago for reading, reloading etc…. No surprise that’s about the time i started finding irons a bit more challenging beyond 25 yds. haha! I have a 329 pd wearing the same pachmayr grips. while it’s a punishing handful with stout loads, It’s one of my favorite revolvers to shoot with reduced loads. I suspect a combination of the grips and the light weight? Its just one of those guns that “feels right” for me. Thanks for the info and God Bless!

Thanks for watching. Funny story to get my 357PD back I bought a 329PD for him. I wanted my 41. The 329 is a fantastic gun as well. I'm just king of a 41 nut.

I just learned that a 25oz 41 mag is more than I want to handle.

HA!!!!!! Yeah it's a bit of a snap when the hammer falls! Doesn't sting the hand though like the factory grips did. I was worried having to take the Pachmyers off honestly. I was thinking all the way from the front door to the range this is likely gonna suck. It feels the same despite them being hard plastic instead of rubber.

Real cool revolver. Gun for gun the 41s have usually heavier than the same gun in 44,45 and even 357. Your revolver is super light for the power. I have owned numerous 57s and 58s and weight has always been an issue. I wonder though when you go to this lightweight design isn't it hard to control?

It is a handful no doubt. The biggest issue with it, because it is so snappy is, that it is hard to take a followup shot if needed. It is a 26 OZ gun. Just make sure you are holding on when you pull the trigger because your arm is going for a ride. Unfortunately they don't make it in a 41 mag anymore. They do make a 329PD which is a 44 magnum. Basically the same just in a 44. I will trade off the recoil for the lightweight on my hip on a full day out in the woods anytime.
