I respect Gurumoorthi Brother's most of the views. But donot agree that eating meat have negative impact in eco system. In reality, growing fruit and vegetables are more expensive and take more resources from nature such water, sunlight, soil fertility etc., A tea bag needs 100 litre of water and a banana needs 250 litre of water to produce. At the same time cattle farming is cheap, economical and eco friendly

His statement on Beef ban in Eco perspective is totally wrong and misleading. Our Cattle rearing method is totally different from European Countries. They cultivate Maize and other fodder crops just for Cattle. It is water intensive. Our traditional method is free range rearing. We give only items which can't be consumed by us or wastes like Vaikkol, Punnaakku, Kazhani thanni. Here, Beef is just a by-product of Diary Industry. We don't rear Cattle just for meat. If he want to take Western Countries' Stand, he should call for Milk ban first.

And he saying that by setting higher tax % can bring down usage of Aircon and hence improving environment, if it is true then why they bring down tax% for luxury cars!? Aryans were consuming lot of beef . this is written in Rig Veda including its Recipe. mostly it was beef fried with Ghee and at one point there became a scarcity of cows as the Aryans start taking 3 times a day. Buddha came at that time and raised a question ,why cant we stay vegetarians when we get enough food without killing an animal...this approach became so popular among the public that Aryans were compelled to become vegetarians and since then brought back the same cow as their sacred animal....which was once in their plates.
