Old pension scheme govt employees pe lagu hona chahiye. Lekin pension ki highest limit fix ho. Kuch kuch lok one lakh tak pension hota he. Unki pension kam hona chahiye. Fix pension system hona chahiye. Facilities badhani chahiye.
guruji, this agniveer kind of phenomenon is also going on in various govt offices/PSUs. Fixed term (3-4) employees have been employed since 5-6 years as a cost cutting measure. No replacement for permanent employees is there. these short term employees show no accountability or decision making or any initiative, they just treat it as a temporary phase to gain work ex and get stamp of PSU/govt job and start looking for other jobs within a year. whilst permanent employees are being treated as burden to the companies.

Recruitment exam abhi bhi same hai, jo vyakti 5min ke under 1.6km run kar sakta hai wo same as before best soldier banne ki kabiliyat rakhta hai, or ab toh best of the best filter ho rahe hai, with modernization and best equipment, 1 will be equivalent to 4 of them, military exercises unke experience and professionalism ko bhi bhadhayega.
Sir , with due respects the nature of warfare has changed. Now battles are fought with intelligent systems (drones, etc) . The need of the hour is to do capital investment and get modern weapons. The earlier warfare techniques such as human waves etc are obselete. There was a time when officer rank was recruited from non -technical branches. Now overwhelming recruitment is from technical branches. Muscle is being replaced by brain and we need to change as per changing nature of warfare,

Sir good analysis as always. I think one view in defense of Agniveer or some reduction in forces is that going forward there will be less conventional wars but more modern warfare.. like we see in Israel - drones and anti air defense etc. share your view on this..
agniveer with three year experience will never take risk in battle field,,,,,,, also in Israel, russia war the infantry soldier is playing important role,,,,it is the infantry who goes into tunnels ,,,, it is the infantry who fought in galwan,,,, it is the infantry who fought battles in ukraine

But now if the job is not permanent, they don't want even want to risk their life for country. What does this mean? All these people mostly join army only for a permanent job, not bcoz they want to serve the country. Agniveer will filter these 75% fake greedy people. Very simple.

Modern warfare is becoming more and more equipment oriented amd less and less man power oriented, see how ukraine is foghting with russia for even 1/10 of number of people russian have. Our pension budget is more than our salary budget forget capital expenses like planes radars missles etc etc
You can tell why not stop pe sion of MP’s and MLA’s for the sake of argument but, the total seats of all LOKsabha+ RAJYA SABHA+ STATE ASSEMBLY SEATS is less than 5000 for one term. Even we multiply it by 7 for 35 years (politians are generally above 50 with very few exceptions) then it will be 35000 Pension for 35000 people is nothing in comparison of Lakhs of jawans
As a person who is deeply involved with defence forces , I completely agree with guruji. All the things he said are absolutely true and it will effect our nation’s safety in coming years for sure if the scheme is not canceled

i think agniveer is good the average age of army is 33 it will reduce age; top 25 percent will be retained 75 percent will be free in age 21 with lakhs of money they can start and do a lot of new bussiness and self employment
Army is way easier compared to CAPF. Other than the very few CISF, the CRPF, ITBP, BSF are going through hell. Army is way comfortable, they earn more, get pension, have canteens and get ex serviceman benefits. A CRPF or BSF jawan works too much with no infrastructure under stupid IPS officers. This also should be addressed.
Sir isi way mein Short service 5 yrs hi theek h sir...10yrs m to kafi time ho jata h...n then people don't get permanent commission...it is relevant more in army compared to navy and airforce
I dont agree with your points guruji 1)our defence budget is 16% of government total budget(GDP belongs to all people and not only government) so when you say why can’t defence budget is 3% of GDP instead of 2% it implies 1/4 of total budget of central government

Why are you not talking about two major issues: 1. Average age of our regular army will be in 40s soon. Agniveer was a way to tackle that issue. 2. 80 out of 100 Rupees spent in defence are spent on Pensions/Salaries of personnel. Pensions have a larger share than salaries. How will we modernise our army? 3. There are major corruption issues inside army especially in border areas.

this is an opinion video, and logically discussed. not an "expert" level analysis - which i would expect would that about types of weapons needed in future, their sourcing/development etc. all these point any logical intelligent person should be able to come up with and understand. i agree with most of these points. i will leave the expertise to Doval sir, who is brilliant in such matters - but the points raised by uncleji is easy to understand.
