She's looking more and more, like the queen of the season during the time she was in service. It's too bad that her life on the seas was cut short by the nature of the North Atlantic. Looking great, Wayne.
It´s always pure enjoyment to watch you building your models. Your patience and dexterity are impressive. I just recently subscribed to your channel and wannna watch all your videos. Keep up the great work. 👏👍
Those winches are actually lifeboat davits. I watched some other videos on YT and they said that the things that lower those lifeboats are in fact davits.
Would it not be better to, have put the silver stickey patch in place first, then screw the deck onto the larger deck part before fitting the vents etc? Just a thought! That way yoou would not have any risk of damaging anything! Edited Again we have got to another stage were the details are at riskm of damage, due to badly thought instructions, as far as what the best order is to fit parts, in this case it 's the LED strip. This could also have been fitted before the top details were put on..... (I also don't like the colour of the "Grand Staricase", looks too plasticky....mostly because it is plastic... perhaps some paint of the right colour might help. That is if we can see it on the finnished model!)
did they not test those LEDs? something smells hinkey about asking you to cover them and add that foil tape. There must of been a "afterthought" fix to address a problem.
Wayne IIRC one of the other models supplied some square blocks to support models upside down. I think they were higher than the detail on the Titanic deck so they may support it if they are spread out on your mat?
I've really enjoyed watching these videos. Sadly i wanted to build one myself but after only just finding out about this model, it seems the first 30 or so issues on Hachette are out of stock. I dont suppose it is worth subscribing if there is no guarantee of ever completing it. I really want to join in and make one too! :( I wonder how likely it is that they restock or start again from issue 1
@@WorldofWayneUK yeah. I messaged them and they said the Agora one is not available in the UK and redirected me to Hachette. Well if they aren't going to restock or restart it any time soon, I might turn my attention towards building the enterprise - D! 😂
This thing is growing and growing. Are you sure you have enough room to build this thing, let alone store it? 😅 I have a question though regarding the Grand Staircase. It looks as though that the details are lost and may be difficult to see once everything is assembled. I wonder if Brown or Black Panel liner would help?
The Lego Titanic took me 7 hrs but I'm epicly fast at building Lego. The order they have made this section is terrible. The details on top should have been fitted after everything was fitted underneath.
@ 10:16: the IPA is ˈtɑːɹpəlɪn. Though you may want to work on the difference between th and f/v, because thought and fought and three and free are homophonous for you, and saying 'thuck' in public might be misunderstood, just as 'my wife and I thought a lot' would also be misunderstood, since you pronounce the th incorrectly as an f or v.
