Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White's lawyer. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer."

Everything Nacho did here was to see how much he can take advantage of Wormald, and Mike knows it. I almost guarantee he did short him on purpose just to see if he'd stand his ground or let it slide. Nacho has said he likes scamming criminals, so he's feeling out what he can pull and how good of a target he is. Mike's making it clear that that won't fly while he's there. Ultimately a big blunder by Mike allowing Wormald to go by himself.

Michael Marron Exactly. Why start problems over something so small, even in the criminal world. Its 20$, so chances are it was unintentional. Even if it were intentional, would they really think you actually noticed and were too afraid to mention it? No, because chances are you probably wouldnt fucking notice it when counting over it that quick. They wont respect you less because you let them short you 20$, because they dont even know for sure you noticed such a tiny amount missing. nor is 20$ worth mentioning and potentially dying or ruining a deal over

Nacho did about 3 tests here. Shorting $20 was to see whether they run tight business or let things slide. Then acting offended when acused of shorting was to see how they diffuse a dispute. Would he even bother counting or would he see the huge bag of cash, trust that he had been paid in full and happily move on? @@averagejobogio Wait so let me get your logic straight on this one- you're saying he pretends to be out of the loop on purpose so Nacho would test him if he counts the money, and then he counts the money to show him that he isn't? But he still somehow wants Nacho to think he is out of the loop. So you're saying he wants everyone to think he's out of the loop and also that he isn't out of the loop at the same time. And no one would anyway suspect him if Nacho went missing. He has nothing to gain by that. Tuco could kill him if he found out about this side hustle. And even if, let's say some rival gang took him out, no one's going to look at him in that case either because no one other than Nacho and Pryce know about this deal. Did you even watch this show? Or are you just pretending to be smart and insightful about a random clip on the internet to troll real fans of the show? Because Pryce is indeed, in fact, a clueless bumbling idiot. It's not some clever persona that's he's putting on now and in a later scene you see that he's s really smart guy. You'd know that if you watched the show.

Mike is supposed to be a more morally righteous character, as shown by his speech near the end of this video. Selling drugs to Tuco isn't too bad, pretty sure he's just using them to kill Hector, which if that's the case is a pretty good thing to do, Hector is the worst. Selling guns though, who knows what that could result it, it has a high chance of leading to deaths, and might even lead to school shootings.
