As a personal trainer, when someone is trying to gain weight they should focus less on cardio and more on weights. And the most important thing is eating in a calories surplus. A chicken salad should be a “side” rather than a meal. I would personally suggest tracking everything she eats in a week, look a the macros and calories she regularly consume and then go from there. I’d likely put her around 2400 calories, Lots of leans meats, protein shakes and protein pastas, breads starchy veggies,but honestly she can eat whatever since she is trying to gain weight, it just needs to be very dense in calories, however healthier and cleaner options are better. Considering how tiny she is I am assuming her metabolism is fast, so it will be a lot of food however if this is what she really wants it will be worth it. I love you guys ❤️❤️
