it's the pools ph levels that change especially when it rains. when it rains you just need to double the chlorine amount. also, if you go to a pool supply store they will give you a bottle so you van take a sample of the pool water and they will tell you what's lacking in it and they sell it there too. Also, here in Florida we put the meshes over the pool so that debris doesnt fall into the pool makes it easier to clean up, and the fence around the pool is to prevent anyone from falling in , especially little kids. The green means there’s algae in the pool. It’s really common. You need to make sure you have chlorine and shock the pool once a week. And Florida has screen enclosures so leaves from trees, debris, and critters don’t get in them lol
