Narges, a brave and independent woman, has been separated from Mehdi, her ex-husband for a few months and lives in a mountain hut with her two children, Jahan and Jiran. Mehdi, an evil and dangerous man, continued to harass and beat Narges even after the divorce. But today the situation was different.
Narges, along with Master Ahmad and his workers, Reza and Mohammad, were busy painting a relief of Cyrus the Great that Master Ahmad had designed with cement on the wall of the hut. Cyrus the Great, a symbol of the honor and greatness of Iranians, was beautifully visible in this work. The workers were carefully and elegantly completing this work of art when Mahdi came to the hut.
But this time, Mehdi appeared calmly and with a different approach. He spoke softly to Narges and asked to be allowed to see his children twice a week. Mehdi promised that if Narges agrees, he will not cause any problems for her and her workplace. Considering the circumstances and to keep her children calm, Narges accepted this offer and agreed that Mehdi would see the children twice a week for twenty minutes each time.
After this agreement, Mehdi left the hut and Narges continued their work along with Master Ahmad, Reza and Mohammad. This moment of understanding and peace was a turning point for Nargis and her children, because for the first time after a long time, the hope of peace and stability had returned to their lives.
