Sorry about the Quality. Captured from a Xmas TV industry video tape. Featuring Anne-Maree and Jamie Dunn. Outtakes from the Children s TV show Cartoon Connection. Circa 1990 I think!
better than david koch and sunrise that's for sure.who at channel 7 decided that competing with the today show on 9 for a breakfast news/chat show is a moron.
they might be politically incorrect by 21st century standards but give us them to start the day over sam and kochie and the weekend people who run sunrise anytime.
0:58 As a child I went to a live taping of this (I was actually in a close-up shot too!) and was horrified to see Agro's voice was actually a big middle-aged man. I don't know what I was expecting; I knew he was just a puppet but, yeah I was 5. Haha I'm so glad this video has validated my memory. Great show!
I’m a 34yr old American following a suggestion from a IG reels comment. Here I am discovering this show for the first time through its bloopers lol. This is great. 😂
Met Jamie Dunn the other day. Legend! And so glad he recovered from the very serious hospitalization from the flu. Top bloke, very humble and down to earth. All the best with 98.9 FM in West End, Brissy.
Same here Mark but I eventually got over it and haven't had a shag for 10 years and don't miss it. That`s what turning into an Asexual Aromantic does - solves a hell of a lot of problems when you don't need women or sex in general in your life.
the good ol days of working at a company, now you have to be independent with no financial backing from any corporation and you can say whatever you want
Anyone that watched Hey Hey It's Saturday would understand the type of adult humour that used to be on Australian TV, also think Don Lane, Graham Kennedy etc.
Ahhh, Agro! That was a fun blast from the past. I love watching the pre recording banter and capering with all the saucy shenanigans . I remember similar haughty high jinkery on a clip they showed on a Blooper type program featuring an adults only version with the crew of the 70's children's program RAINBOW with Bungle, Zippy and George being very saucy indeed. Such very surreal juxtaposition and I've always imagined the switchboard going Chernobyl if they accidentally aired the wrong recordings!🤣
@@agentscott96 yes but there was still a lot of humour that was dirty it's just the kids didn't get it . Even play school used to jokes designed to entertain the parents
To all you Aussies having a go at Australia, believe me from one old Pom, it is still great but maybe not as great as when I spent most of the 70-80s there. Agro and co are flipping marvellous, haven’t gut laughed like this for awhile.
@jordan It it all changed because everyone became a soft pussy, thus leading us with really bad shows like MAFS, MKR, The Masked Singer, The Project and Dirtgirl world. I could list more terrible shows, but I already suffered enough brain damage mentioning the shows I just mentioned.
Fur Tv and Wonder Showzen are good shout outs...there was also Bronx Bunny and the Seth Green show Greg The Bunny which was a sitcom looking behind the scenes of a kids TV show in a world where puppets are real
Bec McGettigan Aha, I was not aware they got married. But then, I wouldn't expect that kind of banter between two people who couldn't stand each other. This kind of thing you only do with someone you know very well. Makes perfect sense.
Anne-Marie was so incredibly cute. Absolutely adorable. Also, this kind of humour would result in 5 lawsuits by lunchtime in 2017. The late 1980s were an innocent time.
Brit here, never saw Agro until a few years ago and by god, I wish we had had something like him on British kids TV! Poor Ann-marie, she must have been so thrilled getting the job as a presenter ( I believe she was 16?) and then the poor girl had to go in every day and work with that lunatic!! Hilarious though. Awesome to think a lot of this stuff went out live lol.
God I miss this from childhood. I remember the dog Rommel would more than a couple times take a limb off Agro to play with. He once nearly chewed through a chord and Anne-Maree had to play tug of war with him. I think Rom one. This, Ferals, Around The Twist and the one with the doll with no eyes (name?) was perfect 90s childhood.
That is the funniest thing I have ever heard and seen on TV ever! When Anne-Marie says "Where do you get off with this stuff!?" prompts the crew to laugh out in the background, then I just crease up myself. Hilarious.
@@SexualPotatoes yes but there was still so much stuff that was absolutely hilarious and designed so only adults would get it. You've heard of play school the politically correct ABC television show . They used to do all sorts of jokes for the parents before the vegan's took over
I remember seeing this on children’s TV on Saturday mornings working in a home for developmentally delayed children. I’m glad 😃 that they blooped these scenes!
This is some funny crap i remember back in 92 seeing this on tv while getting ready for school or teenage ninja turtles, i was at St.Pauls primary school on glengala rd Sunshine. I still remember those days like it was yesterday
No joke we used to have a drinking game where we'd grab, what you would call a "harlequin romance novel" and start reading them out loud. Every time the word throb was spoken you had to take a drink. Every time the word 'explored' was read, another drink. Rarely we ever made it through a book. I used to write trashy short stories in college for cash with crap like "she sat forlorn with a chamomile tea in her hand peering out the window into the storm. The rain pounding on the window and the wind howling she looked out wistfully out into the thunderstorm echoing her own internal conflict." The language used in that genre is both absurd and hilarious out of context.
