Jamie Dunn could easily rank as one of Australia's funniest people on TV. He had Agro working on multiple levels entertaining everyone without offending the children.
@@Rastus123 Most women that find themselves on TV are reasonably physically attractive. I don't even know what you're talking about being happy to be a woman. I don't think your point validates good chemistry.
@@ameliawagus6248 okay… I apologise about that. Also you’re kinda cute yourself, but I’m not gonna date you out of respect for your private life.👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
I enjoyed this show so much when I was a kid, the best cartoons. I remember how I wouldn't leave to go to school until it finished lol had to make a mad dash to school of course and the teacher wasn't to impressed on me being a little late....but looking back on it as one of my happy memories, it was well worth it.
I absolutely loved this show as a kid. Cartoon Connection and Sevens Super Saturday. I went to the studio for a live audience on a Saturday Morning and it was great. Anne Marie deserves a medal for working on that show and not killing Agro. He was a very naughty puppet!! Ha Ha Ha.I know what I would have had my hand in if I was under that desk.
I used to tape the show before I went to work and watch it when I got home and fast forward through the ads and cartoons. Ann-Maree was brilliant with Agro .
You would NEVER get this kind of stuff on TV anymore. Now it's all polished and bland. Miss these days, even though I was only a little kid at the time.
yeah its all the socialists fault right its not like the conservatives are always telling people what morals they should live by and trying to censor anything that doesn't follow their dogmatic moral compass no that's socialists it's also the socialists fault that the conservatives are terrible at economics as well and are running the country into the ground financially.
@@xhellraiserx1985 if you follow a rigid political ideology youre fucked full stop, dunno why the comments are about politics on a 90's kids show video anyways lol sad
@@coopsnz1 im from england mate i don't know aus politics i just know your handling of corona has been fucked you got police bashing down doors and dragging cunts away it's already looking pretty commie
Olivia Newton-John was born in Cambridge, England...didn't move to Aus till she was around 5yrs old, but you are right on the cute comment, they are both extremely cute
im clad i grew up in these time's, me and my brother's were up every morning at 6:30 for agro before we headed of for school, still remember most of the cartoons...
I had almost forgotten why this made me laugh as a kid until now. I lost it when Agro said, "I get new hands, you get a new body!" to Anne-Marie. That, and when I heard the horse noise, I thought, "THAT'S why!"
*blows in her ear* ( @ 10:20 ) : You know what was that? :No? :You getting a refill I died right now. fk that was the funniest thing I've heard on TV. Miss these days.
I would watch Agro's Cartoon Connection every morning before school growing up; it truly was a staple of my childhood. There was so much adult humour in this show, mostly very subtle but occasionally direct, and it could still be considered suitable for viewing and no one would flip out and complain (1:57 was hilarious). Occasionally my father would watch it as well, and there would be times he would laugh at something Agro said, but neither myself or my siblings realised what was so funny. If this show were on in present day and Jamie Dunn got up to his usual antics, he'd be raked over the coals and booted off the air by the apparatchiks present in today's media and government; he'd probably be called a misogynist or get "me too'd" just be how he interacted with Ann Marie and other female co-hosts throughout the show's run. Watching videos like this really reminds you of what we've lost and how far we've fallen. I'm always grateful when someone uploads videos with from Agro's Cartoon Connection and other older Australian kids shows, especially with quality as good as this. Thank you for this, you've made my day. P.S. Also seeing how different the Queen Street Mall looked back then in the Vox Pop segment at 7:14. It's like a completely different place today.
Shadow Stevens' daughter, Amber Stevens West was on a tv show called "Happy Together", where she was married to Damon Wayans Jnr. Felix Mallard (Ben Kirk) from Neighbours played an young Australian music star who became part of their lives. It was cancelled in 2019.
who knows we might get this back next year or anything from Disney to finally replace Sunrise. If we count the 2 hours of double doses of news in the evenings that's 5 hours weekdays or 20 to 30 hours a week.
The kids today are fed on a diet of politically correct crap, especially on the BBC. I’m 69 and have had tears running down my face watching this, thank you.
I watched this every morning as my supervisor 😂 I didn't get most of his humour but I knew the interaction between them was something that could only happen live. So glad that we can watch it later and appreciate it properly 😊
uppanadam74 Facebook sucks! It's just an online diary and 90% of it is people posting the most pointless, useless and retarded shit! Life was so much better without it!
@@BeAGoodDoga As I recall, Terasa was there 1995 to 1997 when the show ended. Twonks was on during that period. There are a couple of episodes on the YT channel @TheDrunkenBastard ( ru-vid.comvideos )
Dannii S I’m looking for an episode from 1994. I was in an episode alongside my Mum and sister, a shot shown just before a commercial break. I was only just a few months old at the time. And my Dad was in a Twonks segment too.
I think the uploader got the date wrong in the description, it was actually Tuesday 1st October 1991 not Tuesday 1st November 1991, Anne-Marie even mentions what day it is at 1:27
Lol this could be a stretch and a half, but i'm pretty sure that maccas is on the north end out Southport on the Gold Coast.. did they film CC in Bris or GC.. anyone know?
They filmed CC at Channel 7 in Brissy. I'd bet they headed down to the GC quite often, I saw a segment in another vid on RU-vid filmed at Movie World back in 1992.
It was filmed in Brisbane, but pretty sure some segments were filmed on the Gold Coast in this episode judging by the bit at 14:30 (it does look a bit like the northern part of the coast judging by the trees in the background). You could be right.
