Went to the show as a kid with my dad. He was selected from the audience to make a bed while wearing boxing gloves while a clock ticked down. After he was done the clown said "See that wasn't so bad was it?" and my dad responded "No." and gave him a playful punch to the clown nose. Aggro had a laughing fit and dropped off his platform. We thought they'd pull it from the show but it went to air. My grandmother still has it recorded on VCR somewhere I think. I'd love to find the footage and if I ever do I'll upload it.
I was on the show in early 1994, as a baby. Crikey even acknowledged me! And my Dad appeared in a Twonks segment, which we did record, but my Mum accidentally wiped it!🙄🙄🙄🙄🤬🤬🤬🤬
I feel like a lot of the humour definitely went over the kid's heads. Agro played to the adults in the room as well. Why is this type of kids entertainment not possible nowadays?
I use to watch Agro religiously when I was a kid of approx 4-5 years old. When they took Cartoon Connection off TV, I soon forgot about Agro. It has been TWENTY years. A friend of mine posted this video to Facebook, I had a look and the memories of twenty years ago came flooding back. And I appreciate Agro even more nowadays with the hot women and Agro's funny-as-fuck dialogue
One thing I noticed, after watching all these Agro clips, is the differences between Ann-Maree and Terasa. Ann-Maree is more like a Mother figure towards Agro (especially in the outtakes!), whereas Terasa (and even Holly, to some degree) fits more into the “goofy big sister” category.
she was fun.i recall the final 18 months of this show before the idiots at 7 decided to take on the today show with sunrise.this was a fun way to start out before school the remaining months of senior year june to november 1996 and my first year to fifteen months of the big world thereafter november 1996 to february 1998.
Ahhh... back in the days when sexually deprived killjoys were ignored and the rest of us had fun. Life is now a killjoy paradise of bland, depressed and silent sadness with little laughter.
There's so much I missed as a younger person watching this. But now I'm laughing like mad. This really exposes how soft TV has become in today's woke set world.
Coming soon to Seven and 7TWO...the very best bits of Agro's Cartoon Connection hosted by Agro himself! Relive the episode where he snogged Teresa, that Sailor Moon Cosplay Day episode and other scenes that would make FreeTV Australia furious!
Did Agro get the tongue in? Or was it just the teeth? And shaving rash under the chin? Theresa would be fully shaved! Or didn't Brisbane women do that in the mid 90's?
You know, men often get accused of having the weirdest sexual paraphilias. But I have yet to see a man get so aroused by interacting with a puppet. I believe this is a sexual deviation exclusive to the female of the species. I believe many females also have something for people in animal outfits. Ever notice the way Humphrey B Bear's female offsiders seem so enamoured with him? Trust me, I've worn an animal costume before. Women absolutely love it. They enjoy talking with and hugging furry puppets and giant mascots. Don't anybody try tell me men are naturally more perverted than women.
Man, she was so attractive! What's she doing now? I bet many boys, and men, were supremely envious of Agro at that moment. What I also really enjoy is the improv/spontaneity. You can really tell they're just going with it and making it up on the spot. It makes it so funny.
stupid political correctness killed it.i refuse to watch tv shows prior to leaving for work these days in the mornings.basically all news/chat crap now.
@@franzchong5889 I don’t even have a TV plugged into free to air. It’s all pretty shocking now. It’s kinda weird that kids won’t have time linked with stuff like we do. Saturday morning cartoons, kids shows before school. The arvo time block. Etc because everything is streamed on demand.
i know except for 7 flicks with their disney shows.it's bugger all on offer for them to start the day on before school unless you have as an alternative pay tv services.
@@BeAGoodDoga you got that right.except for ant farm, dog with a blog and liv and maddie which we get on 7 flicks usually on weekends or used to it's gone to crap.
@@BeAGoodDoga Especially Holly, haha! I actually saw here at a mall back in 2005. She was with some guy going up the escalator, and when I looked back I saw her looking at me.
