As someone who struggles with depression and suicidal ideation a lot, her quote "don't you want to see what happens if you choose not to give up" REALLY got me into my feels. I didnt know how much I needed to hear that
I completely related to that for the same reasons, Steph!!! She was such an inspiration & it sucks that she's gone. I just saw her video on AGT this morning and learned about her, and her subsequent passing. She was such a star and while the world is a little darker without her in it, it's also permanently brighter because she was in it. Hang in there, Steph! You're not alone.
I'm not sure Nightbirde ever understood how many lives she has saved and how many people she has helped. Her strength and beauty will always be a brilliant example to us all. An absolute angel. I hope we can honour her amazing spirit.
People do not understand how powerful she was even facing this fatal disease. Despite being blown every time, she never lost hope. You must appreciate what you have, health and life, what she did not get a break to have. It is what all of us should learn from her. I still visit her videos because she reinforces my will with her positiveness.
She’s almost magical. She smiles in the middle of very, very tough pain. She’s a beam of awesome light with such a positive attitude towards life; she’s fighting this horrible battle with such ‘graciousness’. Precious girl!!

I dealt with open heart surgery and breast cancer since 2014 and 2015 and I thought I was strong. Sounds so simple, yet that statement is filled with such strength, complexity, and appreciation for life. Man i really hope she beats her cancer, she would be such an example to the rest of the world of how someone can come back from a 2% chance of surviving and making it, that would send a super strong mssg and vote of confidence to others going through similar situations, and might be the difference between someone deciding to fight or give all hopes up, ultimately being what saves other people's lives across the world. When I first saw her and heard her speak back then I thought wow was it the illnesses that brought so much wisdom to her? And then I thought my next biggest question "no but I believe that God is having a hard time right now deciding if he still needs her so bad up there or do we need her so much more down here in a Time where we need more beauty?
This woman is truly amazing. I am truly hoping she gets her miracle. There is power in prayer. Everyone please pray for Jane, she has so much courage and so much fight in her. Chris, you asked if she has always been this way... She may not think so, but I can say yes. As kids, Jane & I went to the same church. She always had a heart of gold. We were missionaries in a foreign land doing God's work. She sung melodies of God's word on stage on Sunday's. She needs a miracle, she needs healing. She is so beautiful inside and out. You are so strong Jane. Thanks for becoming a light in so many of our lives.

They say "some people come into your life as a blessing, some as a lesson". In a positive way i think she is both for me. I feel blessed for hearing her wisdom and we all learned a bunch of lessons from her.
I have cancer in my liver and lung and the pain/depression that the illness and medication causes is extremely hard to deal with. It takes everything you have to get through the day just to turn around and do it again tomorrow and the next day. And to do it with a smile and humor takes so much. Many days I don't have the energy to breathe and I have more respect and admiration for this little bird is huge. Keep fighting girl.
