Spent lunch break at my airgun range with the Vulcan 3 shooting out to 300 yards in the rain. Vulcan 3 from talontunes.com/ Slugs used where Avs .2553 Scope vortex venom Heritage Arms cold shot scope base
Bill, I also purchased the AVS 0.2553 slugs after viewing your video. I noticed that it's very hard to chamber them into the breech. Do you find them very hard to chamber on the Vulcan 3 as well?
The Vulcan likes tight slugs. The best groups I get are with those it still does shoot pretty good with smaller diameter, slugs that bothers you. I’ve been shooting .253 boat tails lately they go In Easily
@@myairgunrange Awesome. Thank you for sharing. In one of your Vulcan 25 Cal videos, you mentioned you got a custom hammer spring from Talontune. Were you running at max on the factory spring? Don't know if I should get one as well. Thanks again.
Bill, what's your take on which caliber for long range shooting? With the recent FX Panthera annoucement, I wonder if I should go with .22 or .25. All I care about is the precision >300y.
My favorite caliber is 257 for long range I shoot 85 grain at 1000 fps out of my Texan. I have a .25 Panthera on the way. I plan on trying that with 55 grain slugs but if you want to compete in 22lr than The 22 cal is the way to go. 👍
My best so far is a thumb tack at 85yds and the chicken silhouette at 115yds with a .22 cal Air Venuri Bullpup....with.....wait for it....Crosman Premier Hollow Points. Haha bought them at freaking walmart for like 10 bucks.
