@@myairgunrange igot the drs 700 pro but whit a lot of problems damaged lekking after fitting the gage it will not fit in his box shots where going all directions even after a shop was helping and even then not so i give him back i already buy a karma also
Hello great. But could you compare this DRS pro to your Panthera because the panthera is really less expansive and in your panthera's video they shot very well
Got to hand it to FX marketing strategy. They stay in your wallet LONG after your purchase. 🤦🏼♂️ I will never fall for that again. 9 shots per fill😂 that’s ridiculous.😂😂😂 Have fun with all that.👍
I admit that is a sweet looking gun ( the pro) but I just could never take 3k and put towards this gun. Shame on FX for putting a 3k price tag on a gun lacking their quick tune system but burdened with old tuning system tech. Principle alone, but consumers take whatever they spit out. Good shooting my man damn good shooting 👍
IMHO ! A quick tune system would take away from the looks of the rifle. Now that I have my rifle set, all I do is shoot, shoot, shoot ! No more messing around with it. The majority of the cost of this rifle is the MDT ACC ELITE chassis. The chassis and the match grade trigger make it a dream to shoot.
So the chassis retails for a little over $1600 the drs classic sells for about $1000 you have to add the Match trigger $100 the power kit, tanks and hammer pin probe $100 and the larger Plenum about 100 bucks. So realistically, you can have the exact same rifle for $1300 without the MDt chassis.
you should use the audio from your bench camera VS using the audio in the zoom camera. Many editing softwares have a auto sync if you use footage from different cameras
I normally do the last two times I use my GoPro. I was having issues with it dying in the middle of videoing. I figured it out. It was a bad SD card.. thanks for watching
@@myairgunrange O yeah those can dye real fast, back in my early days with a dashcam addiction, i got two 64 Gb cards that died almost before i got to fill them just 1 time, and back then 64 Gb cards cost the same you can get a 512 Gb card for today. I hope you try that long Classic out in its stock form, even if i am :177 by executive descension ( by others ) i am interested in how it would do in .22. Unsure if the big pleum are needed to push .177 slugs Just threw a sekmet gauge on my Epic Two, now waiting a week for what i hope will be sort of OK weather, new shot shed and so 130 M long range almost ready to open for business.
Boy I really like that chassis It’s gonna be pretty cool having those other two rifles that I could stick right in the MDT chassis. I’m getting excited to try out that ghost.
500 yards with a .25 cal air rifle. That is so damn impressive. P.c.p. technology keeps exceeding my expectations, and in the U.S, there’s barely an air gun you can’t purchase. God bless America. Stay safe and thank you for sharing.
Me too! I hope they come out with that carbon fiber cylinder soon I only shoot from the bench so refilling not a big deal but I know the PRS guys need more shots. They’d have to lower the reg pressure. I’ll be trying out to 22 Calvary soon also
Great for the karma red panda, but I Hope to see a match beetwin the panthèra and the DRS... With 1000€ less for the panthèra it could bé a great compare🤣👍
I’m surprised they did not have carbon fiber cylinders standard. There’s some rifles out there that can hold 4500 psi like the Hubin. 300 bar cylinder would make a huge difference in the shot count.
Bill, I also purchased the AVS 0.2553 slugs after viewing your video. I noticed that it's very hard to chamber them into the breech. Do you find them very hard to chamber on the Vulcan 3 as well?
The Vulcan likes tight slugs. The best groups I get are with those it still does shoot pretty good with smaller diameter, slugs that bothers you. I’ve been shooting .253 boat tails lately they go In Easily
@@myairgunrange Awesome. Thank you for sharing. In one of your Vulcan 25 Cal videos, you mentioned you got a custom hammer spring from Talontune. Were you running at max on the factory spring? Don't know if I should get one as well. Thanks again.
I've been shooting my DRS Pro .25 700 and I think it is Awesome! I have been shooting the H&N 40gr heavy slugs @975 fps with the reg set at 147bar. It has the match grade trigger, slug power and 1:16 slug liner already installed. The trigger is very nice. Way nicer than my M3 trigger. I was able to take it prairie dog shooting this weekend, it is so much nicer to carry than my M3 .25 700 as it has QD swivel cups built in to the chassis, just put on a sling. I don't shoot out to 500 yards like Andy does, but I did take down pdogs at 200 yards. This rifle is perfect for me as I am a set it up to shoot and shoot it guy, no messing around with it, Just Shoot It !
@@myairgunrange it was damaged no manometers and when you mount the block and manometer it dos not fit anymore in his box . I am so diaponted i am going fore the karma no more fx fore me those barrels are to thin
Hello Sir , The MDT chassis does not have to be removed for the tuning as you can access the regulator true the slots on the side of the chassis ( small logo ) and the hammerspring adjustment can be done also with the chassis on you just need a ball allen key to adjust both .
That is great news I will be shooting it this afternoon I have a bunch of slugs to test. I will correct my mistake in saying the chassis has to come off. I have a question in one of the Utah airgun videos they are showing tuning the DRS classic lowering the regulator pressure turning the regulator clockwise with out degassing the regulator. Is that safe to do?
@@myairgunrange That would be nice if you could correct that 😉 it’s no problem to turn the regulator down under pressure as long as you do it max 1/4 turn at a time with some shots in between to cycle the regulator.
I love the rifle Toney FX contacted me. You can adjust the reg in the chassis. I’ll show how in my next video. I have a bunch of slugs to try. Hopefully, I’ll shoot today.
