I used to (and continue to) watch digimon as a kid. Never truly knew how complex digimon was.

I like to call the Agumon>Greymon>MetalGreymon>Wargreymon as the Natural Evolution line, which I think is the case where the digimon's evolution is not extremely affected by an external source. Digimon are still made up of data and are prone to be affected by external sources, unlike Pokemon with the set evolution tree (except some cases).

And let’s not forget the time Agumon and Tai fought against Red and Charizard in a DeathBattle. Seems like we are halfway through the OG Digidestined crew. Keep up the good work.

Thank you so much for making this vid. I know it sounds typical but I really do love the Agumon line, especially Wargreymon, who happens to be my favorite Digimon of all time. I remember thinking how cool he was the moment I witnessed his warp digivolution on Digimon Adventure. Hopefully, we’ll get to see him again in the Digimon Adventure reboot.

The Greymon line was already my favorite but now I like it even more.

I was playing Cyber Sleuth today. Took me a while to figure out how to get Agumon. I want to get as many of the Royal Knights as possible. Though I made a mistake with Dorugamon. Good thing I had another.

I absolutely hate that Vritramon isn't a Greymon despite literally being a bipedal version of AncientGreymon, the English dub had the right idea by making it BurningGreymon

Greymon is actually a mistranslation as it was supposed to be “Greatmon”

I totally forgot digimon was a thing, I grew up with pokemon

Does Agunimon count as a subspecies or mutation of Agumon's evolutions (I remember Agumon digivolves this way this if he uses Spirit of Flame ( the spirit is related to AncientGreymon) in the Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth games) The way the warrior spirits work Digimon Frontier anime was just WEIRD though. The kids don't have partnter friends instead they are bonded with manifested warrior spirit armors in the form of a fusion meaning they are more likely to risk being injured since they do the fighting. The kids don't even meet the actual incarnations of the spirit until the very end.

This is great i recently came back to DIgimon. I grew up with the season 4 of the show and has never seen agumons digivolutions. This was a great video. .... Though i still dont get why he is called Graymon. I want to see Gomamon next.

You are probably the best most qualified person to ask this question to. Is there any canonical relation or link between agumon and agunimon? I feel like there's a reason why agunimon also evolves into a type of greymon and the fact that both digimons are related to the same type of chosen digidestined or legendary heroes. I'd love to know if there's something to that idea because it does seem to have a canonical iteration. Thanks a lot, great videos!!
