Yoongi has been thru so much. His mother having heart surgery when he was born, him getting a permanent shoulder injury while working a part time job between training and school, his dad being diagnosed with cancer, his best friend being sent to jail, his parents not supporting him in his childhood and first few years of his career, and the stress and pressure of the kpop industry. Yet he has always stayed kind and loving through everything. He doesn't want anyone to go through what he has so he makes sure to be there for everyone else and make them feel loved. Yoongi really deserves the whole universe.
I never realized I would share so many similar life experiences that someone as amazing as Yoongi has been through. I don't understand Korean, but when I read the lyrics in English I got triggered AF because a lot of it rang so true with me and I cried for an hour. I bet a lot of us carry stuff like this within us. I hope his song makes us remember that we're not alone. Thank you, Yoongi, for baring your soul so that we may feel that it is okay to do the same. Wtf this deserves way more than 9 likes. It’s so true. I can relate. I cried for about an hour straight. And I still cry when listening to this. But I’m grateful that Yoongi can share his pain through music.

I didn't think about that cuz I was blind by hate from my own body But hearing your song made me realize I shouldn't hate myself God made me beautiful just the way I am and if people don't like that then they can die in hell because I'm not dying yet That's what I told myself back then so....
