The lyrics and wordplay are incredible. This is what rap in my humble opinion should be. A way of making people aware of all the social, economical issues and more. And Suga just did that. Salute.

This new version of Agust D (scarless Agust D) is breaking free (hageum) from the shackles of greed and envy talked about in the song, but at the beginning scarless Agust D isn't yet truly free because he's caught up in his own self-indulgence (taking someone else's chopsticks, murder, theft, smoking...). Scarred Agust D from the past MV is also very caught up in these things while he maintains the status quo as a police officer (he's policing while scarless Agust D is trying to break free of that) and that's why they get caught up in each other and face off. Scarless Agust D starts to turn things around when he burns the money he stole, freeing himself from the shackles it put on him (it stands in for the self-indulgence, capitalism). Scarred Agust D can't get past that though and so begins to torture Scarless Agust D and tries to have him killed for it, but this new free scarless Agust D emerges victorious in parallel to the last transition of power and rebirth we saw from Daechwita. Finally the MV comes full circle when scarless Agust D returns to the restaurant where this all started, but instead of his previous self-indulgent acts, he asks for a single bowl of noodles and uses the chopsticks as they're intended to be used. I think this last image we're given is more in line with the freedom spoken about in the song.
