Suga is speaking to the younger idols in this song. Woosung is the lead singer of The Rose. Check them out too! Ryuichi Sakamoto is on piano who Suga has a lot of respect for and was able to work with him before his passing.
@@paolaccorrea he is talking to younger idols/musicians, he stated this in his documentary, but it could also apply to ARMY in general. don't just post things or shoot people down if you don't know something for sure :)
Woosung has a lot of beautiful songs from the time the rest of the Rose was in military 🎶🌹Woosung and the Rose has texted that is really good, a bit like Bts, text about life in general and he is not scared of "sing it as it is" 😅💜 The Rose is more or less the only other music I listen to when I want something else then Bts... They are on the way up in the world now, that's for sure and I'm looking forward to the next chapter from both BTS💜and THE ROSE 🌹
Such a beautiful song. The lyrics!!!!! Woosung´s voice and Suga saying it is ok, it is ok (or it will be ok). How beautiful of him writing a lyric for young musicians who are pursuing their dreams. The live version is amazing. Suga playing the guitar. It is on Disney channel in the D Day docmentary. Mr. Sakamoto just passed away. He was an amazing pianist. Min Yoongi admired him tons.
Ryuichi Sakamoto was a very famous Japanese composer, record producer and actor. He passed away recently and Yoongi was a huge fan of his, he plays the piano in this song. RIP Ryuichi Sakamoto 🥺
Yep, he was part of the famous electronic band Yellow Magic Orchestra (YMO) at one point of which he co-founded. While I was aware of them back in the 1980's, as I was a big electronic music fan, I rarely listened to them. I was & still am more into the music of Vangelis (RIP), Tomita (RIP), JM Jarre, Serrie, Hammer, Kraftwerk, etc.
Ryuichi Sakamoto was a Japanese composer, producer, and also an actor. Here in snooze, Sakamoto played the piano part that he composed himself. Kim Woosung on the other hand is the frontman of the indie rock band "The Rose". Woosung also has his solo albums. Check him and his band out as they're pretty good.
Woosung's voice is known as unique and beautiful. I suggest you react to his albuns Moth, Wolf and Genre. Many Armys love his work and The Rose band too. Sakamoto composed the piano part. He was Captain Yonoi in the incredible movie Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence with David Bowie and composed the amazing soundtrack for the movie. He was a Japonese actor, composer and Pianist and won an Oscar for The Last Emperor soundtrack. He died from cancer in march not seeing this album release unfortunately. But Suga had the opportunity to meet him before his death. There's a mv for this music.
Suga is now a recognized and almost worshipped success. He has always been seen as reserved, self contained, but has also been caring, embracing and immensely gifted. No one can say he hasn't made it, can they?
This song is so beautiful my favorite of the album. Sakamoto is my favorite composer and has been a huge influence on Suga musically, it was a big deal for him to show him this song and for Sakamoto to immediately offer to work on it with him and play the piano, although he was ill from cancer then. Everytime Suga has performed this live it’s exceptionally emotional and I just sobbed hearing it live, how he says it’ll be okay. Woosung couldn’t be more perfect for the chorus and they are old friends. Suga isn’t always hard he’s always had this ridiculous range of music he makes. The flow thematicly on the album from Polar Night (a song about the injustices and problems in the world keeping us in this long dark times), then Interlude Dawn (after a polar Night of darkness that lasts months what must that first Dawn breaking dramatically feel like he captures that in a wide sweeping cinematic score), and follow that with Snooze (you are weary by fighting and not yet ready to wake so Dream a little and it’ll all be ok rest a moment), and the final song is Life Goes On (we March foreword). He is one freaking intense songwriter.
finallyyy Snooze!!! I became a fan of The Rose the day I heard this song... Woosung really captivates me.. and their songs are good too...please check them...they're Indie Rock band
Woosung melted my heart 5 years ago When I 1st heard him I had goosebumps, tears in my eyes His voice entered my heart and touched my soul without permission, he was able to reach the deepest and darkest places inside me His voice is a soul healer...
Can you please suggest any of his songs? This is the first time I'm listening to one of his songs, but I felt exactly what you described. Would like to explore more.
Woosung Aka Sammy is the leader, singer, songwriter, etc of the Korean indie rock band called The Rose. Also Yoongi and Woosung have been friends for a couple of years.. This collaboration was stunning, their voices together was absolutely amazing.. Pls check more songs of the Rose. I really Appreciate your reaction.. -🌹
You may know Mr. Sakamoto for his film scores for The Revenant, The Last Emperor, Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence (my first exposure to his work in 1983), and other films. He composed for animes and video games. He also composed the music for the opening ceremony for the 1992 Olympics in Barcelona.
Find the live clip of this. Enjoy BTS More has one. Ryuichi Sakamoto was an inspiration to him and he finally got to work with him before he passed away. I think this song is telling his juniors that since he went through it, he is with them when they go through it and he wants them to rest more than he did.
Woosung ( from the Rose ) are doing their US tour hope you guys can go. Ours will be in Arizona in November cant wait to see Woosung his voice is amazing. Hopefully you can check out more of his work recommend "Side Effects" and "Come Down" I think this song would make more sence if you guys react to Agust D song "So Far Away" so you can understand how Suga felt when he 1st started in the industry and how he now is sending a message to his juniors ( because he didnt have someone to give him same encouragement, especially since his parents opposed of him being an idol ) Him saying 13xs its gonna be ok its affirmations, sometimes we have to tell ourselves those words just to make it though a hard day. So this song to us fans is a continuation of So Far Away him wishing us to keep going but also to have a restful day when we need too. So we can start anew and refersh and get energy to continue our dreams
Suga paying respect to all the naps he survived on when a proper night's sleep wasn't possible. He's telling younger artists not to feel guilty about getting rest.
Song is about Agust D talking to younger idols. The lyrics are words of encouragement he wished he received when he was first starting his career. He's telling them that this since this is their line of work gets so difficult, it's okay to take a break and not be so hard on themselves.
Ryuichi Sakamoto is a composer who Yoongi greatly admired. He passed march of this year. Yoongi felt that Sakamoto was an influence on his own work. I am uncertain of the parts that were collaborations if there were any or if this was a tribute song. Apparently, Suga saw a movie that Sakamoto made music for and it impressed him.
Woosung has a beautiful, haunting quality to his voice. It is one of the more striking voices I've heard. V does have a wide range of tonal gifts, and they do have similar qualities, but I find this delivery to be completely and unerringly Woosung.
I would love to hear Tae and Sammy on a song together. The emotion both their voices bring is just amazing. V has such a rich and dark tone to his voice while Woosung’s is both feathery and raspy.
You guys have not reacted to Woosung, or his group The Rose. But you really need to! They are my absolute faves along with BTS. The only two groups on my god tier. The Rose are a 4-member band who write their own stuff, play their own instruments. And they have a backstory as inspiring as BTS. They had to escape an abusive label who NEVER paid them, and it took years. Now they are on a label they started, and finally getting the attention they have always deserved. Woosung is American, so when the others were in the military he released some records that are worth a listen, too! A great example of their talent is this performance of the song "Sorry" from their appearance on The Wish 107.5 Bus: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-QDcfQQEhlJw.html

The mantra-everything will be ok. He really is there for the younger ones because they had no one but themselves. Woosung has a very interesting backstory too
To me the "everything will be ok" is like a mantra, something to tell yourself when you are at a low point. It's gonna be ok, you're gonna come out on the other side so don't give up. I love this song. It's ridiculous how many times I've listen to it. Just Suga's raw rap and Woosung's beautiful voice. Sakamoto did the piano, though I'm not sure if it was the arrangement or writing? More knowledgable Armys will know. Maybe Woosung will do an appearance when Suga performs in Korea? Wouldn't that be awesome? And Woosung & V would make a great duo.
I a suggestion of checking The Rose out a while ago! Woosung is the lead singer of The Rose and has a beautiful voice and his stage presence is immaculate.

Woosung has a beautiful voice. The first time I heard this I thought why has Suga kept his singing voice a secret, I thought it was him! Nevermind, Sugar has many genius atributes. In response to your chat after the song Sugar has done chill and gentle stuff before. Did you listen to First Love?
One of my top 3 songs on the album. And Woo-sung is on my list of favorite artists. You guys should check out some of his solo work. One of his songs/MV 'Phase me' it's in English and produced beautifully. Whether he is with his group (The Rose) or solo, doesn't matter, he creates amazing music. If you guys check out his group work, I would recommend the song/MV 'Beauty and the Beast'. Not only is it also well produced but I love how it is written and the storytelling within the MV, the message it portrayed made me a fan immediately. Hope you guys check Woo-sung and his group out. ❤
Don't forget RM album😉 As for D-day... Suga said this is the end road to D1 and D2, having found peace of mind, maybe the end of AgustD... So maybe that's why more chill. As for the sense of drama and chill at the same time, maybe cinema music inspired, as Sakamoto has some great movies compositions.
I think Jimin's album showed he is no longer a boy, it was a demand to be recognized as a man, an adult, an artistic force on his own, and not to be stuffed inside a box by his fans. In some ways it was vulnerable, but in others it was angry as a clenched fist. Not a kid anymore.
So the creators of this video don’t know who Sakamoto Ryuichi was. Sigh… Without him, a lot of today’s music wouldn’t exist. He along with Hosono and Takahashi of YMO and Kraftwerk revolutionised music. So sad that music influencers these days don’t this.
