All the Company's use BTS for use military than complaining about when government made rule for BTS because they received cultural merit awards because they they contribute 3% of whole South Korea's in 2019 and they are the youngest to received that award so they call it's BTS rules I mean the other companies than they changed to BTS should get wave from going to military (I can't think of exact warding right now) so their hopping their artists get something someday someday so yeah you miss that. Try People, 28, Strange, Respect from the D-2 album. Also, try to listen to it in sequence. I find that their album has that sonically cohesive thing going on if you listen from the 1st track to the last.
Fans for some reasons like to recommend diss tracks lol. It's very satysfying for us sometimes because people bully us and drag bts on daily basis whether on internet or in real life *taking deep breath* it's really tiring and energy draining. I 100% recommend Honsool, People and 28 from D-2, I feel like it’s not the kind of sound you’d expect from a mixtape that has What Do You Think and Daechwita (which are pretty much the only fuck haters/flex songs there anyway) But overall, the mixtape had so much to say about the underlying loneliness and disappointment after finally reaching the top

strange is a must!!! it's a feat with RM and seriously the lyrics are the result of when you put two geniuses to chat together (if I'm not wrong, it was exactly how the idea of this song was born)
Since a lot of people are recommending songs from d2 (I second people, strange, moonlight, dear my friend)- I will recommend non-hater must hear songs from Agust D: the last and so far away. These two songs show how open and real Suga can get. Id say the last is the most impactful while so far away may be one of my favorite BTS songs especially the version (not on mixtape) that has jin/jk.
But I do think it would be a good idea to listen to the album in order bc it really does take you on a journey. The albums show the many sides of Yoongi, the baggadocious side and the open/honest side underneath
the other songs in the mixtape are definitely different! in fact, when he says "this is my last gift" in this song, he is referring to that this is the last time he's talking about the haters, and that this song and attention is in fact a gift to them who thrive off of the attention, but i guess he still had a bone to pick with them even if he knows that lol looking forward to your other reactions, yoongi is an amazing writer and some of the other songs are an incredible exploration of loneliness and growing up
My favourite songs from D-2 mixtape are: Moonlight and Dear My Friend. Moonlight is an introspective song reflecting on how much Suga's life changed,, and that 1 constant thing that doesn't change is the Moonlight that beams on him when he sits outside at night. Dear My Friend is a song about Suga's friend - his feelings about what happened to that friend and their friendship.
No one deserves to flex as much as these hard hard working and basically humble, talented, grateful young men. i think you have to listen to songs in the mixtape in order to fully understand the progression. The first few songs to the mixtape were written 3-4 years ago when BTS, in general, was receiving a lot of hate and that's why those first few songs were mostly toward haters. Later songs in the mixtape reflect the growth in Yoongi himself. I recommend you listen to the whole mixtape all at once and see the progression.
Majority of his solo tracks are about his experiences in life, comfort songs so you'll definitely have a ride 😁. I'm excited for you to react on dear my friend and honsool
*AGUST D aka Suga is my fav Artist in kpop, he reminds me of those OG rappers. His beginning was also humble. Plus he as insane producing skills (they call him Genius producer there). I would recommend so far away feat suran by Agust D next. You will know that this guy is just different.*
If you want something really personal from Agust D its gotta be "The Last". that purplebts channel has the best lyric vid imo. its deeply personal and offers a lot of insight into. Yoongi's life and struggles and also his triumphs.
I love this song so much! The music & SUGA's delivery are just amazing, gives me chills & hype at the same time. For me, D-2 is best to be listened as a whole, coz it is a journey. And yes, Daechwita & WDYT are the only ones about haters. SUGA explained in his live about the album that he's no longer angry. This track in particular originally was written a few years before it was released & he needed to make some adjustments because he no longer feel that kind of anger. Enjoy your ride with D-2! 💜
I would love you to check Strange ft RM (from D-2, the track right after this one), I am someone who loves to go deep into lyrics with all of Bts songs but I have to say Strange was hard to completely grasp to me for a long time. It’s about society and humans in society, I would say. For me when D2 came out, What do you think and Strange were my favorite songs, now it’s People and Set me free. Im kind of curious what you’d think about People, I mean I’m sure you would appreciate the lyrics but I’m curious whether you’d like the style of it (I find it to be…. a mix between hiphop/rap and pop, not sure what other people would consider the genre 😂 I think its universally most people’s fav song on D2, and its one of 2 fav lyrics in a song, ever, for me (other one for me is one of songs on Mono, RM’s second mixtape). I frankly don’t think its an exaggeration to say D2 is an actual masterpiece of an album, I hope you’ll listen to the whole album start to finish after you’ve heard all songs.
Always love the attitude and emotion that AgustD / Suga injects into his voice in his songs the rasps in his voice and his laughs, it's gold ✨️ no one raps like him. I particularly like the build up in this song as his intonation changes and the background ad libs. As you say it's repetitive but doesn't sound the same.
Dear my Friend is one of my fav songs on the mixtape! Honsool is also super creepy, but relatable at the same time. Strange is probably the strongest song of the tape when it comes to lyrics with its polarization and capitalism commentary. I hope you enjoy the rest of the mixtape!

The diss/flex songs are among my less favorites among the rappers' works, in general. The ones from the BTS rap line are usually more complex that those from other artists, but they're still not at top of my ever changing list
Moonlight and 28 on the D-2 album have a different vibe than the diss tracks. Sonically, Moonlight is my favorite, but it's always nice hearing Suga tear people a new one.
I listen to this mixtape at least once a day while I'm working. Consider listening to "People" and "Dear my friend". You'll know a different side of him. Also, I know it's not from this mixtape, but "The Last" is THE song for anyone who wants to know more about him and his struggles. Thanks for the video!
Well I love that you are doing a deep dive to everything about the song but if it's possible can you react to their mixtapes in the order like in the mixtape. Suga and RM usually have a reason for the songs being where they are. Like if you listen to 'people' later in this mixtape you will see the way his thoughts are flowing so to speak. There are 2 versions, the original has excellent electric guitar you need to hear and the version with BTS vocals. I was binge (re)watching your videos and I can't believe I missed this reaction. I love Yoongi's tone(?), inflection(?) don't know what to call it but just the way he throws words. You can hear his emotions. From what I've seen, Yoongi is normally cool and calm in most of their interviews, he has a deep and soothing voice when doing VLive, so I just think it's such a contrast to his agustd persona.. I saw that you did "Strange ", looking at songs that you reacted you should react to Moonlight, so you get first one, then you will be have in order, and Moonlight really sets this mixtape... After it you have Deachwita that is very hype and in face with korean twist, then "What do you think?" totally "f y" song and then "Strange" with social concept and then go songs that are more about Yoongi as individual, this thoughts and stories.... I think in BTS and solo work when you listen to full albums in order you really see that this very well thougt out.
