The thing about Sungha is that people really think he's all that because he is young. Don't get me wrong, Sungha is absolutely amazing and I watch his videos probably everyday, but if he wasn't such a young guy do you think he would still be as famous? Also, many people think Sungha makes his own arrangements. That fact is, probably only about a fourth of his videos are arrangements he made himself.
you may not be as famous as sungha jung or igor pres, but you're just as talented as them! i love all your renditions of songs! they've all got this really peaceful soothing effect!

Well the higher capo is to make it easier to play what he's playing, and the lower capo is to put it in the right key, as the song is traditionally sung quite high, and he probably wanted to emulate that. I wouldn't say it's just to be quirky, it clearly has a practical use.
