AGV AX-9 Carbon Overview and Review 

I traded my ktm 690 smcr for my tuono v4 and the helmet I had was the agv ax-9 in orange🤣 loved the helmet for the time I had it, I hope you have a good experience too

I've just retired this helmet after about a year and a bit of owning it. Here's my opinion on having used it as a daily riding helmet in the UK with how variable the weather is: it is the best venting helmet I have ever owned, bar none, but even with front vent completely detached, I am surprised at how quiet the helmet is (I always wear earplugs, however). Fitting an intercom is awkward due to AGV integrating the cheek pads into the neck roll, so it's made it difficult to install it, but this is a problem I have faced with my Sportmodular as well. I never used the peak as I am on an SV650S so I would end up getting some buffering and vibration from the peak. The visibility through the visor is great but there's some very slight refraction along the curved edges of the visor. The lack of nose guard and the Pinlock being the midrange 70 rather than the high end 120 you would want on this end of a premium helmet, means that the Pinlock will get overwhelmed within 15 minutes of riding during the rain or humid and cold mornings (typically single digit Celsius temperatures). I think as a summer helmet or one you won't be using in the rain, this is perhaps the best option. But otherwise, I would recommend other options

nice bike bro fr also ordered carbon ax9 but chose size MS I am a true to fit new era 7 1/4 size ....i could barely squeeze it on but once on was comfortable...i sent it back and I'm awaiting ML size hope its not to big...hows your sizing?

Hi I own this helmet and many others, and I completely agree with you, it’s amazing. I got the dark tinted shield and I’m looking at the mirror silver shield, have you ever found yourself using the mirror shield at night? Is it too dark? I find myself riding a lot after work and don’t really like using the clear shield since I wear prescription glasses, so using the dark smoke shield is a problem when it becomes dark at night Wondering if the mirror shield is a good compromise Thanks
