Very well laid out review. Thanks. I just bought one! I expected it to weigh less though-1670g about 143g more than my old Arai Quantum. But it's a different breed of cat. Love the Man Cave and that Lic plate on your left LWD 336. I used to work at Walters Mercedes Benz in Riverside.
Planning on getting one of these to replace my AGV K1, because of how bad the bastard leaks in rain (I've ridden in the past 4 storms we've had and I am pretty sick of the seal breaking in about 5 minutes). From memory, did you find the seal on the visor to be decent with the partial amount of rain you experienced? Also, how was the temperature regulation in the cold when you were riding. in regards to keeping you at least not chilly?
I have own one. With out Pinlock this helmet with visor is useless. Lots of fogging. With a pinlock also still have problem on small patches of fogging in traffic. Helmet is pretty comfortable and light wight is very nice. Vent on the top is very nice, feel the air form the top also. And if the is more ventilation it would be pretty nice. I think for winter this is pretty good. View form the helmet is very good. By analysing all the information this helmet is very good. I recommend to have a little more ventilation on the helmet.
This helmet is a Large, which is what I am in a Shoei. The sizing is pretty accurate although the AGV is a slightly different shape. I found it to be marginally bigger (not much) than the equivalent Shoei size.
Ciao ho un problema con questo casco, il dentino della visiera non rimane incastrato quando la visiera è chiusa e con il minimo movimento si apre la visiera, è normale?
@@mancavemotoCave if you lay the bike down, it's an adventure bike, after all. The 1st thing to touch/break is a front indicator. It happened to me closing a gate,. I consulted Google & found that I wasn't alone, so I fitted upper crash bars $300+ ouch & replaced the std indicators with ones that fitted inside the crash bars $8 & placed another set on top of the fog lights $15. This also protects the radiator.
No lo compres, en dos meses el un mecanismo de la visera rota, en 4 meses el otro y se ha perdido el clip de la correa, aparte de que es insoportable lo rumoroso que es, es tirar el dinero.Lo mejor de este casco es el departamento de marketing.
