One of the best hockey games I’ve ever watched. I was lucky enough to take a trip to Hershey for game 3 of the conference finals and the fans are no joke felt like an NHL game. PA is a great hockey state. Good job Bears.
Was up to 2 a.m. watching our Bears win! That was a fantastic game and win, and I am so happy for this team to achieve that comeback and victory. From 2 games down to 2 goals down, they never gave up and a achieved history! Absolutely sweeter by the dozen!
B-E-A-R-S Bears Bears Bears. Underdogs in the finals. Playing all these away games at 10 pm, finding a way to come back in an environment they hadn't won in down 2-0. Easily one of the greatest wins in Hershey Bears history. This CV Firebirds team is nearly an NHL team and they extinguished the flames. FEELS SO DAMN GOOD!
@@KevinBYee Absolutely Kevin! Firebirds had our number on Away ice but the boys found a way! CV was one of the best AHL teams I've ever seen and yet the Bears found a way to win. Incredible.
The Seattle Kraken have a heck of an organization.... the Kraken went deep and the Firebirds went to OT in Game 7 of the FInals... im a VGK guy and I am still hung over from the Stanley Cup lol, but I am very mindful of the leathal power of the Seattle Kraken organization!
Whenever mom calls you and your friends home for dinner you always ask for five more minutes and your street hockey game suddenly becomes overtime of game seven in the finals, very rarely do teams actually ever get to experience that feeling. Congrats to the Bears on living every child's hockey dream, B-E-A-R-S BEARS BEARS BEARS!
2024 Calder Cup finals: I believe that we will win. Always have been always will be a huge firebirds fan since I am a huge kraken fan. Go firebirds. Stay strong and positive Coachella residents. We got this!!
As a Fort Wayne Komets (ECHL) fan, congratulations to the Bears. I've always admired this team from Hershey. Would love to see an exhibition game between the Bears and the Komets, two of the oldest teams in North American minor league hockey.
Let's Go Bears!!! It was awesome cheering you guys on at Games 3 and 4 at the Giant Center. You beat a really good team because you stuck to your game and played with tremendous determination! Way to keep Roaring!!!
Good series. Awesome to see the Bears win it. CV/Seattle: if this is how good the organization is now, then the future looks bright at the AHL and NHL levels.
@@aaronvarela89 i had seen that first-hand earlier in the year. the Caps were going through injuries all season, promoting the Bears talent seemingly on a daily/weekly basis. in fact, I did not even consider the Bears doing much after a March game I attended. of course, that all changed once the Caps were eliminated from playoff contention a short while later. the Bears made a great push to secure the first-round bye. the rest is history.
Congratulations from an Amerks fan...Hershey really deserved this cup! I hope a lot of these guys (especially Shepard) get the call-up next year. Flyers need some fresh blood more than any team. Congrats again🎉
Hershey is affiliated with the Capitals, not the Flyers. That said, the Caps could use an injection of youth as well. I would be surprised to see Shep get bumped up to the NHL next year. Probably gets another year in Hershey, but there are definitely some guys that will make a case for themselves.
😂😂😂😂😂 firebirds CHOKED. It was there's to take! The way the firebirds played all year.....and then lay an egg when it matters the most......i love it!😂😂😂😂😂😂
The 2018 cup was exactly like this! The capitals won (in this case the bears) and the new expansion team got to the Stanley cup final in their 1st season (Vegas but in this case the fire birds)
Personally I was on the Firebirds Fan Train because the team managers to put on a show with their awesome way of scoring. It was a really close series. Even though the Firebirds lost in the finals, I’m honestly not upset that they lost. They had a great run and a fantastic inaugural season in Coachella Valley. I’m happy for the Bears because it’s great that a successful franchise can win their 12th Title in AHL History. Overall great season and a fantastic way to end the season.
Seattle Kraken became my other favourite team when they made their debut in 2021-22 season and because of that I decided to follow their farm team Coachella Valley Firebirds. This was the first time I have watched a full season of AHL hockey and I really enjoyed it. It was also nice that the Firebirds had some Finnish players that I knew beforehand like Ville Petman and Peetro Seppälä and it was cool to see them play there. I never knew that this season would go so well and that these Calder Cup finals would become so dramatic, but even after that tough loss I really liked what I saw and I will definitely watch Coachella's games in the future also.
They were right.....that big save by Shepard helped spark the Hershey comeback in this game. Congratulations to the Hershey Bears, the 2023 Calder Cup Champions!!!
can somebody tell me why 7 bears came down from the dressing room after they won? are those just spare guys that arnt playing but dressed to get pictures?
Healthy scratches or just scratched players. They have them dressed for photos. They are usually just waiting in the locker room watching and waiting if there is a chance. The firebirds had the same thing going on, but they had to just get undressed lol
Весь сезон были выше на голову всех, всех уничтожали. Вели в финальной серии в счёте... И так проиграть финал...... Очень жаль... Привет из России. Поздравляю херши беарз
Hes been a phenomenal captain. Couldn't imagine anyone else holding that title for this younger team. Hes a great guy for the rookies to look up to. Ness is also such a good mentor too.
I Say Congrats to the Hershey 🐻 on Winning the Calder Cup from A Long Time AHL Fan and former Utica and Lowell Devils Fan! I Wish we Could Had More Success trying to Keep a Team as Long as you had The Bears but at Least we have Good College Hockey in Lowell and Yes I will Ask my Mom to buy Me a Hershey Bar in Honor of your Championship Win!
I'm sorry, but wtf is the guy doing at 4:44? You have a partial break in the low slot and you try to go through the legs?.. I get that kids are trying this kind of thing more and more in this era of hockey, but in Game 7 overtime of your league championship final? He could have went to the backhand and had a legit chance at scoring. What a dummy. Congrats to the Bears!
Firebirds are just like the Vegas Golden Knights they went to the stanley cup finals there first year but lost the Firebirds will be back you'll see but yes the bears did good congrats on 12 wins
