Didn't expect this to be the outcome when the series started. Got a ticket for this game hoping they'd pull it off. Wow! Couldn't ask for a better game! Hats off to Coachella, but GO BEARS!!!

I was there. Place was the most electric atmosphere I've ever seen at a hockey game and I've been to a LOT of NHL games. It was even more nuts than Games 3 and 4 of last years Calder Cup Finals that I went to. I got 3 goals on video including the OT winner. Fantastic job Bears, you hung in there and battled really hard. What a remarkably dominant regular season and amazing run in the post season and Calder Cup Finals! That was honestly the best hockey game I've ever been to and I've been a fan for over 30 years and played for 10+. Let's Go Bears!

Never been a bears fan (grew up going to phantoms games at the spectrum) but I’ve always admired the tradition the Bears have carried in the AHL. Always cool to see a big following/good atmosphere for minor league sports. There’s a sense of community and small town pride and I love it. Congrats Hershey, I’ll be at the amusement park this summer 🤙🏻
@HersheyBears My dad took me and my sister to ou1st Bears game in 1984 (Hartford Whalers in the Old Barn, seats AA07-09, just above the glass behind the Bears' goal), which was a big deal becuz I grew up in NEPA and going to a game required my dad to take a day off of work, a 3-hr round-trip drive, etc. When my parents moved to Lancaster my senior yr of uni (I went to Millersville U), we went to as many games as we could every year for the next 20+ yr (20-min drive, hell yeah!!) I moved to NJ in 2016 (yes, PA ppl, insert joke here cuz I do), and his health started to fail shortly thereafter, but we always had Bears hockey to connect over. Dad passed in 2021, and last year, all I could do was sit in his custom Chris Bourque (his all-time fav Bear) jersey I bought him and cry becuz he wasn't here to enjoy the run amd win (he went to EVERY landing party/big bash when the Bears won between 2005-2010, and I still have all that memorabilia and T-shirts!). That the Bears won this yr means so much becuz I could enjoy it w/out crying . . . though as lifelong EDM fan Imma crying (coal-country girl by birth, oil-country girl at heart). Thank yoy, Bears!! B-E-A-R-S, WHOOOO!!!
Great to be there last night. Truly a singular place in world of Hockey. CV certainly came to play. But “hats off” (literally, Dube!!!) to Chocolate Town & our B-E-A-R-S BearsBearsBears!

this was truly an awesome experience! I was able to see the win last year at the Giant Center Watch party, but seeing this in person, it gives me chills! Love my Bears!!
This team truly deserved this win.. Dube killed it as well did everyone else! I couldn’t have asked for a better game. They worked so hard to get to this point and definitely deserve this . Coachella did great too! I loved being at the game and the crowd was always cheering. GO BEARS!!
As a Caps fan since they began,,, I Love how the Bears Organization puts such a good team on the ice -- they care enough to give the fans a great product-- and im sure alot of fans from hershey, pa., make the trip when possible to see the Caps-- I thought with the Cleveland Series being a long 7 games, with a couple OT's, and Coachella winning in 5, and wanting revenge,, the Bears wouldnt do it again-- glad i was wrong...
Great/awesome/fantastic season Bears! To repeat as champs even with the Caps callups the last two seasons, the team is able to field a competitive roster. Nelson has been nothing short of magnificent to push the right buttons in order to achieve the team's success. As a season ticket holder, I will be there on opening night (again, I was there last year) as the newest Calder banner is raised to the rafters.
As a diehard Washington Capitals fan, I'm happy many of the Capitals fans who are also fans of this team have something to celebrate after a disappointing early playoff exit. Although, after recently learning that the Hershey Bears are affiliated with the Capitals, I wonder how that works if the Bears are a Pennsylvania team
@@kjprodouctions9050 I believe when the Caps came into the league in 1974, their first affiliation was with Hershey. Then, Baltimore to Portland, Maine before coming back to Hershey. I want to say neither city other than Hershey would build a new building. Plans for Giant Center were already underway by the time the move from Portland to Hershey. Yeah, I do see your hesitation with a Maryland/DC team in Pennsylvania. I'm betting that having a new building like the Giant Center is one cause for the affiliation. Another is Buttman's creed to have the AHL team close to the NHL team as possible. The western teams had their affiliates here on the east coast for the past 20 odd years before this edict of Buttman. The last west team to leave the east was Vancouver (Utica was their affiliation if I remember correctly). Great hockey to have 3 PA teams within an hour's drive to Hershey, Wilkes-Barre, or Lehigh Valley.
They’re allowed to like their team. I met one at the game last night. Great guy, great fan. Glad I’m a Bears fan but I was also glad he said he enjoyed coming to Hershey.
You had the record season and superlatives by players, but what really impressed me was them being able to bounce back against Cleveland, and then further that momentum vs. Coachella Valley. Who would have truly believed that after what we saw against Cleveland that winning the cup would actually happen? THAT is what's most impressive; their resiliency.
I was there, what a night. One thing though, in both game 5 last year and game 6 this year…..the winning goal was scored off of a terrible turnover and just overall sloppy play by Coachella Valley. Thats the difference between a new team and a team that’s done this 13 times. Go Bears!
It's crystal clear that DUBE is the most skilled player on the ice between these two teams. Another great series. Firebirds have nothing to hang their heads on.

Hard to do a three peat the Springfield Indians are the only team to do it. well they had four but lost the first one to Hershey who was the bread to that sandwich.

Never unfortunately. I've never understood the Wolves scheduling as I believe some of the teams in their division played Hershey last year. I was fortunate to see da Bears about 20 years ago when they paid a visit to the Wolves den. Also congrats to former Wolves asst. coach Todd Nelson on back to back Calder cups..
They’ll play them if the bears and the wolves make the final, which I don’t 5ink will happened bc I have a feeling it’ll be bears vs firebirds again next year
not one of them deserve the NHL after that choke fest and that includes the coach. JR hockey could have coached better in those last 2 games. what idgiit changes the game strategy after one win? Milwaukee should be asking if you were going to gift wrap it to hershey we could have done better than that and made at least an effort. CV should get back to the desert and burry their heads in the sand.
What a joke. Couldn’t be more of a fake if watching WWE. FB didn’t even try and gift wrapped the entire game. How many times did the just dump it down, can’t score without the puck so it’s fixed or the coach gave up.
