But if you take Hakeem I would not argue. Shaq being in his 3rd season was irrelevant especially considering he got to the finals in the first place, the Magic were 1st in the East too so it wasn't like they pulled off some upset or something they were expected to win the conference. Shaq was most dominant on both ends against bigs who were slower and not really considered scorers, he didn't have that advantage against the Rockets it's not that surprising he lost. Why do you think Rodman who was significantly smaller was such a bad matchup for him? He couldn't match Rodman's stamina.
