Deedat used the Quran to show that the Taurat (Torah) and the Injeel(Gospel) was sent down (S3:3) by Allah . For Christians, the Quran is never a word of God. There are not such thing as Injeel or Taurat sent down from heaven. The bible was not never sent from heaven but was written by many inspired writers. Deedat lied to muslims and non-muslims that Matthew said that Jesus went to certain place and preached the injeel gospel in Arabic. Back up what you said in the gospel of Matthew. Besides, Jesus spoke Aramaic and Hebrew. Arabic came around 7 AD after Christianity. Deedat claimed he has 11 different Arabic Bibles. Wrong! The protestant Christianity has only one Bible. The Catholics who called themselves “Christians” have many books including their own bible like the Shites, Sunnis and Ahmadiyya who called themselves muslims. Muhammad was also confused by Catholicism and protestant Christianity (S5:116 ). Did Allah write the Quran personally? No. Then how do you know the Quran is true? But Surah 6:114-115 states that the Injeel came down from God in truth, and that God's word cannot be altered. If the Injeel was corrupted and altered by Christians, thereby the Koran must be false.

@@del5582 In Islam our belief is that Allah revealed Tauraat to Prophet Moses (peace be upon him) containing guidance for the children of Israel. This book is Torah. Similarly, Allah granted the Zaboor to David and Injeel to Jesus. None of these books were authored by the Prophet’s themselves. They were literally taught to them by Allah and then they had it written down, Allah is the author. Today, we have 5 books in the Old Testament that are collectively called the Tauraat. Strange as it is, these books are not even fully attributed to Moses (Peace be upon him). Yes indeed, the torah today is not what it was a 2000 years, there is corruption of texts and books. Among the Jews and Christians the Torah is believed to be the first five books, beginning with Genesis, in the Bible. However, if you look carefully into these books, you’ll find many of them don’t really represent revelation given to Moses (Peace be upon him) but are biographies of Moses (Peace be upon him). Also, towards the end of chapter 34 in the book of Deuteronomy, which is part of the Torah it talks of Moses’ death and being buried, which obviously is not of the work of Moses nor is it the revelation given to him on Mount Sinai as Muslims believe. As such even the definition of Torah in the Judea-Christian literature is not like the Quranic reference to the Torah, or law, specifically the revelation given to prophet Moses not biographies about him. Therefore, similar to the scripture that God gave to Abraham and Noah and many other past prophets, the revelation granted to Moses that was to be scripture for guidance of those nations, either is completely lost or not survived in its original form unto us today. Torah is Torah, it is a revelation Allah granted to the children of Israel and it served as a guidance and light for them, it set a standard by which they were judged. The children of Israel that followed the commandment of God are MUSLIMS. So are those that answered call of Jesus (Peace be upon him) and followed his commandments! Since the followers of Moses and Jesus (Peace be upon them) have rejected Muhammad (Peace be upon him), thus they by choice have become a different community from the Muslims that are now followers of Muhammad (Peace be upon him). Some say he the "son of god", some that he is "the father" but we have to read the bible to find out that Jesus said "call no man on earth your father as there is only one father the father in heaven". What we have have ask first is that did Jesus (peace be upon him) claim to be "god" or did jesus claim to be "the only son of god". Muslims are required to believe in all the books revealed by Allah to mankind. However, the so-called "Bible", as it exists today, is not the Injeel that was revealed to Prophet Jesus (peace be upon him). The words and wisdom of Allah given to Jesus (peace be upon him) have been lost, hidden, changed and distorted. The fate of the texts of the Apocrypha of which the Infancy Gospel of Thomas is one is testament to this. In 325AD, the Emperor Constantine attempted to unify the fractured Christian Church by calling a meeting of Bishops from all over the known world. This meeting became known as the Council of Nicaea, and its legacy was a doctrine of this nonsense called "Trinity", previously inexistent, and the loss of somewhere between 270 and 4000 gospels. The council ordered the burning of all gospels not deemed worthy to be in the new Bible, and the Infancy Gospel of Thomas was one of them. However, copies of many Gospels survived, and, although not in the Bible, are valued for their historical significance. So Jesus (peace be upon him) comes as a messenger of god and those supposed "christians" think he is the supposedly "lord" instead ? I cannot fathom this. Christians and Muslims are more alike than different. 1. Jesus taught that there is only One God and Only God should be worshipped as taught in Deut 6:4, Mark 12:29. Muslims also believe this as taught in the Qur’an verse 4:171. 2. Jesus didn’t eat pork as taught in Leviticus 11:7, and neither do Muslims as taught in the Qur’an verse 6:145. 3. Jesus and other prophets of the Bible fasting up to 40 days (see Exodus 34:28, Daniel 10:2-6, Kings 19:8, and Matthew 4:1- Muslims do so also during the month of Ramadan. Muslims are required to fast the full obligatory 30 days (see Qur’an 2:183), and others take it a step further by fasting an additional 6 days to increase their rewards. 11. Jesus taught to say “Peace to this house” when entering it (see Luke 10:5), and to also greet the people in the house with “peace be unto you”. Muslims do exactly what Jesus did and taught. When we enter our homes and the homes of others we say “Bismillah” and also greet with "as salaamu alaikum” (peace be upon you) as taught in the Qur’an verse 24:61. 12. Jesus was circumcised. Circumcision is 1 of the 5 fitrah in Islam, so Muslim men are required to be circumcised. According to the Bible in Luke 2:21, Jesus was eight days old when he was circumcised. In the Torah, Allah/God stated to the Prophet Abraham that it is an “Everlasting covenant” (see Genesis 17:13). In the Qur’an verse 16:123 Muslims are required to follow the religion of Abraham. The Prophet Muhammad said, “The Prophet Abraham circumcised himself when he was eighty years old.” 13. Jesus spoke aramaic and called God ”Elah”, which is pronounced the same as “Allah”. Aramaic is an ancient, Biblical language. It is one of the Semitic languages that also include Hebrew, Arabic, Ethiopic and the ancient Assyrian and Babylonian language of Akkadian. The Aramaic”Elah” and the Arabic “Allah” are the same. The Aramaic “Elah” is derived from the Arabic “Allah”, and it means “GOD”. “Allah” in Arabic also means”GOD”, the Supreme GOD Almighty. So the biggest issue is - whether the people who wrote down the "message" were able to capture the EXACT "message" as what was received by the prophets via magic. The Quran you have right now is the Uthman Quran. Whether that Uthman Quran is an EXACT replica as the one from Allah, we do not know.
