He was only criticized for his selfies because he was always on the news for doing something stupid. So he eventually became a laughing stock, because of his own actions. Shaheen, Shadab, Rauf all take selfies today. Do we make fun of them? No, because they dont do stupid unnecessary controversial stuff in first place. Remember, once you become a national player, you are representing Pakistan. There is whole generation of kids who look up to you as a role model. You have to be careful of your actions in both public and private lives.
