W, on the other hand, gets CD reduction and tower execute % increase. Since W is Ziggs' biggest playmaking ability (for making escapes and for mini-Gragas-ulting people into your other abilities's hitboxes or into allies, as well as getting those big tower executes), it's by far better to put level points in it than E. For some reason, people always auto-max E second and it always just seemed like one of those things people do but don't think about. W gives SO much more bang for putting ranks into it.
