Yeah. I think we can expect to see this type of armor become a staple in Star War from here on out, cosplay too. lol Baylan also has a variation of the armor. I really love both of their armor. Shin reminds me of that chick from the fighting game (forget the name). She wore armor like Shin, and had a fighting stance like Baylan's, with a giant sword.
Dunno. I think it would take an awful lot to turn her around. She has shown a perfect willingness to savagely murder an entire starship full of people without provocation. And, she force choked (Dark Side ability) someone from behind. Someone she had twice outclassed already. Surely she is not about to become Miss Goodie Two Shoes.
Don’t act like Anakin and Ahsoka haven’t done the same. From her point of view, the New Republic troops are no different from Imperial Stormtroopers. They were military opponents, not civilians.
@@MJJFilms, that seems rather flimsy, how many atrocities has the New Republic committed that their opponents could point to and say, "see, they're doing evil too?"
I have been thinking that maybe Shin will end up at Luke's academy someday. I think she will need to hit rock bottom first. She is abandoned, alone, and desperate. I think this will lead her to dive more deeply into the dark side, possibly making her more powerful in the short term, but she will eventually be brought crashing down and surrender to the light.
I think Thrawn doesn't really want anything to do with Shin, he considers her flawed, like he did Baylan. I'd be very surprised if Thrawn want's to keep her in his employ. He will use her and cut her loose when he has what he wants, and I don't think Shin trusts him at all.
I have a feeling as a female Force Wielder who was brainwashed at a young age to work for the bad guys, Shin Hati’s going to play a similar role to Mara Jade’s in Legends.
I truly believe that Shin has had an aversion to Dark Side Alchemy, The Nightsisters, their Magick, and (most likely) The Sith. Ironically, Thrawn wants very little-to-nothing to do with The Jedi, The Force, and Force-users, even if they're mercenaries...as he said, he considers Force-users to be innately "flawed". I also wonder if Baylan was testing Shin's real alliances, by sending her away...perhaps it was the equivalent of a Jedi Trial...and, with her seeing how quickly the Imperial forces left without including or accounting for her, it may determine whether she seeks this kind of power or involvement within her home galaxy. That is an interesting thought, that Shin Hati could, in some way, be the canon version of a Mara Jade type of character. If she and Ezra got together romantically, their offspring would have the potential to be uber-powerful. DON'T send those kids to Luke's New Jedi Academy, sadly. May The Force Be With You...
Baylan sends Shin out with the bandits to take on Ezra and Sabine. He’s not seeing Ahsoka on site yet. It would have been interesting if the night troopers had shot at Shin. She might have been more likely to accept Ahsoka’s offer. I wonder if Morgan takes pity and gives Shin some guidance. 🤷♀️ But then, her main focus at this point is returning to the main home galaxy.
My money is on Shin returning to Baylon. She possibly learned her lesson that these skirmishes are senseless and Baylon is right to seek out something bigger.
indeed, as he said to her previously, shin isn't interested joining either the light or the darkside, like Baylon, she wants to know what that power is what her master seeks
Good theory and I would be happy if she did become Ashoka’s padawan. It would be a nice full circle for Ashoka considering her doubts about being raised for war which Shin has also but Ahsoka can give her another path.

She might have been more likely to accept Ahsoka’s offer. I wonder if Morgan takes pity and gives Shin some guidance. 🤷♀ But then, her main focus at this point is returning to the main home galaxy. Can we talk about why Shin is wearing Beskar? She blocked Sabine's lightsaber with one of her gauntlets in episode 7. I also wanna know where the Eta shuttle is right now. it may become important if Thrawn downs the T6 to Maroon the Jedi. I think she'll develop a winning smile next episode, as per Baylon's plan. She doesn't seem to care about the light side of the force or the dark side of the force but rather she wants and needs a role model to look up to. Sabine also has attachment issues. A lot of people in their teens and 20s have attachment issues. Being a strong force user with an entirely different level of senses would make all the problems 10x worse. We've got a powerful Mandalorian noblewoman who is exiled from her own people and seems to have some force ability (but not as much as a normal Jedi) seeking out somewhere to fit in and a powerful force user seeking out somewhere to fit in. Ashoka also had attachment issues with Anakin and Baby Yoda with Din Jarin. Of course, Anakin had attachment issues with Padame. I think Shin or Ezra or Sabine of them if not all three of them will stay in that Galaxy as Jedi. Therefore giving Dave Filoni a whole entire galaxy to tell his Jedi stories Shin will be offered as a vessel by Barlow, to this power that’s calling. Shin will be possessed by the Morris mother Abolith! Which will unbalance the force in ways no universe has dealt with I loved Andor and some aspects of Mandalorian, but this show... this show resurrected the franchise Ezra is no Padawan Ashoka is more than a master Sabine is a Padawan Shin Hati is a Padawan Ashoka has Ezra take on Shin Hati as a padawan and trains Ezra to be a master, while she trains Sabine While Sabine and Shin Hati can duel Grandmaster Ashoka the white I think Shin will be a Ventress-type character. I think Shin will fulfill a mixture of Mara Jade and Rukh's roles from the Zahn EU novels. She'll be Thrawn's force using "enforcer" ... and she'll end up betraying him. Doubt she'll go and be Ahsokas Padawan unless it's at the very end of the films etc. Whatever happens. I agree that #Hati is a great addition to #SW. A true shame the writing and story structure are 🔥 🗑. I like your channel though. Am I the only one who doesn't want Shin to join Ahsoka?😑 I don't know, doesn't she joining the light side seem kind of...expected? I feel like her character arc provides such a great opportunity to catch the viewers by surprise and actually" subvert" expectations for once. I mean come on, we all know what the agenda is and what they're trying to push. I don't even have to mention it. It just seems like shitty/boring writing to me. Would be good to see Shin become Ezra Padawan with everyone saying they are similar I don’t want her to be redeemed. It’s too easy and overdone, the Star Wars writers can’t comprehend the idea of someone having character growth that exists outside of turning to the light side. She should remain neutral, not joining Ashoka or Thrawn but leaving at the end of the show to learn about the galaxy on her own.
I believe Shin could be Mara Jade re-envisioned. Potential love triangle for Ezra and Sabine. However, others are hoping to see Luke...you just never know. George Lucas was against Luke getting married so you never know how rebellious Fiolini gets...
Shin is clearly not ready to strike out on her own. She still looks to Baylan for guidance. Baylan's last bit of advice to Shin does not bode well for her. It leads me to think she'll make a critical mistake in battle and either get badly injured or possibly die. I hope not. I'm interested in her story arc. Her character has potential to be like Mara Jade, but it's all speculation at this point.
Ezra is no padawan Ashoka is more than a master Sabine is a padawn Shin Hati is a padawan Ashoka has Ezra take on shin Hati as an padawan and trains Ezra to be a master, while she trains Sabine While Sabine and shin Hati can duel Grandmaster ashoka the white
Filoni made Baylan and Shin so interesting that they overshadow everyone else in the story. It reminds me of The Dark Knight, where the Joker's compelling nature relegated Batman to a supporting role. I would like to see how Baylan's quest for unimaginable power upends Thrawn's agenda and throws everything into some kind of chaos. I'd also love to see Shin continue to develop as a grey Jedi, perhaps in the aftermath of Baylan's efforts. The whole Thrawn and Ahsoka arc seems boring in comparison.
I actually thnk that Shin is set up to be the main villain on Peridia. Maybe at some point, if she survives, she might join Ahsoka's crew. That would be after many battles. Though, to be honest, there is no reason for Shin to keep fighting Ahsoka's crew. They would be better off working together to escape. But, we did see Shin return to the nomads, rather than to Ahsoka's team. Plus, Ahsoka will need a villain next season.
3:17 I genuinely think Ashoka can beat Baylon but she chooses not to bc she sees a potential ally in both him and Shin. Ashoka seems to have mastered multiple lightsaber forms including Djem-So that Baylon uses and can exploit its weaknesses. She is biding time.
If shin goes to the light side, I don't think Asoka will be the best teacher for her. Funnily enough; Huyang would be a great teacher for Shin. Shin already has the skills but needs more practice. She's also missing a lot of the jedi teachings, or has them, but twisted versions because of Balans teachings. Huyang would excel at providing both of these :)
I really hope that they build Shins character a bit more before turning her to the light side (IF that is what the plan is for her arc) I hope that we will not get an instant gratification storyline. Let this playyyy. I love her character so far. The actress is giving her just enough to be extremely expressionistic while keeping her mystery.
Skoll and Hathi are children of Fenrir (Loki's wolf child) in Norse mythology, they are wolves that try to eat the sun and the moon, respectively, and bring about the end of the world. My guess is that Anakin is the Father Mortis God, and Hathi is going to be redeemed and take the role of the Daughter (NOT Ashoka, since she is needed for the show to continue). Basically, the choice Hathi is going to make will be to die for the Light in Episode 8. Baylan is going to become the Son. This makes sense from a screen writer's perspective; you can't keep the Baylan actor anyway, you have to keep Ashoka as a flesh and blood character, Presumably all this will take place as the consequence of a confrontation with Abeloth in some fancy room with lots of columns and runes and electric slides in the void
I think shin or Ezra or Sabine one of them if not all three of them will stay in that Galaxy as Jedi. Therefore giving Dave filoni a whole entire galaxy to tell his Jedi stories
All Star Wars Characters have a light and dark side. It is about what events will push to one side or the other. Even Vader came back to the light side in the end.
great breakdown. I wonder if shin will join with ahsoka ezra and sabine. I dont think her values taught by her master were entirely of a balanced way of things, although its possible that at the time of order 66 or immediately after, his reaction made sense to him. She certainly has some things to consider, and as a character I think she might turn to the light, but I think she will not like this idea [nor will sabine].
I feel like Shin has a better connection with Sabine than with Ezra. If there's going to be a Mara Jade and Luke kind of thing going on I hope its with Her and Sabine.
Would be nice if Baylan was preparing Shin to be something more than a jedi or sith. Something like the vessel for Abeloth. Shin even resembles Abeloth. Abeloth would also certainly be able to end the cycle for good.
stunning eyes and looks she throws, does not talk much but listens and obeys orders even if got her doubts, knows got flaws and works on them....and the actress is cute too although those moles all over her left side should be taken care of.... reminds me of ella newton, even if stoic and calm, doing nothing somehow achieves to be INTENSE and a scene stealer....
Shin Hati is meant to be appealing and perhaps generate some compassion for her circumstances, and then get killed off. So far this series has far too much faceless enemies getting knocked down like dominoes while lead characters loose a strand of hair or recover from fatal wounds.
As aStar Wars “Legends” person I love people always just coming back or people staying alive through mechanical machinations. I do have to say I don’t understand why Bacta has just disappeared in Disney Star Wars like in Boba Fetts show we learned apparently it is rare yet they have had this magic healing water for thousands and thousands of years to even before The Old Republic and it was the main excuse for living since as long as you get into a tank within a short time you can recover even from the most fatal blow. In Disney’s shows they just simply survive it because they did like “oh well uh space magic”. P.S Yes I realize Ashoka is connected to those three force beings so that is probably how she survived but if you ask me from the scenes we got I think Baylan just cut her clothes thinking they pierced her and we see her floating since she fell from up high she passed out in the water and had a force vision like when deep in meditation.
i don't think she will become his padawan considering she is only a few years younger and competent (then again Anakin was only 5 years older than Ahsoka), i imagine they might become allies and Ezra will help Shin deal with her inner demons as a friend, not a superior. Ezra actually used the darkside for about 6 months after malachor so he would be the perfect candidate to help her and i defiantly agree that them being called alike twice now is intentional, she most likely has a similar back story to Ezra where she was a street orphan. It also seems that Filoni want to keep Ahsoka and Sabine as a fighting pair so Ezra will need a new partner in battle and Shin would balance him out perfectly. I wouldn't be surprised if Ezra and Shin get stranded on peridea at the end of the season and Ahsoka and Sabine are forced to leave. That way Ezra and Shin can stop Baylan in another series or film whilst Ahsoka and Sabine help the new republic. Who better to stop Baylan than his padawan and a jedi who knows peridea like the back of his hand. specters
to my brothers and sisters of the darkside of force. Through passion, I gain strength. Through strength, I gain power. Through power, I gain victory. Through victory, my chains are broken. i hope Shin stays in the darkside and Sabine slowly turns. {it will never happen but i wish.]
Might be better if Ashoka, Ezra, Sabine and Baylan get stuck in that galaxy. It will allow some original stories that don't step on EU and legacy. Shin should go back to SW galaxy with Thrawn. They can possible have her replace Joruus C'Baoth or Mara Jade. End the last movie with Shin giving birth to Rey Skywalker and forget the sequel trilogy.
Baylan is the necessary dark Jedi in all these conflicts. He can kill but he didn't. I hope his Master's force ghost will intervene. The problem with Canon Skywalker family tree is that they started retconning everything in JJ Abrams's sequel. And they didn't cast a live Luke in Mando. If they were planning to have a family in the series they could have cast a look-alike Luke. I'll be betting on who will be the next son and Thrawn's impact on his return, not Luke and Mara's romance. Luke's children alive? or dead? War of the Solo Twins sounds better than Ben and Rey, imho. Thrawn sends some of his Noghri killers to capture Luke and a pregnant Leia (Ben? only Ben). JJ Abrams made a multiverse, 3 entire sequels with little lores, and retconned characters.
She has no direction, but ambition. She blindly follows orders. I believe thrawn will see that and understand she’s lost without baylan and attempt to use her to his advantage. But she go cray cray. She will be the new joorus or the new Mara and either baylan will go crazy from what’s calling him or Ezra has alrdy gone crazy we just haven’t seen it (he do have the crazy eyes though).
Shin isn’t going back to thrawn. He’s left the galaxy. My impression of her holding up her saber was announcing she was about to slaughter Ashoka’s only remaining enemies. Kind of like Anakin slaughtering the Tuskins vibe. But in the opposite direction
Shin will be offered as a vessel by Barlow, to this power that’s calling. Shin will be possessed by the Morris mother Abolith! Which will unbalance the force in ways no universes has dealt with
I think Shin will fulfill a mixture of Mara Jade and Rukhs role from the Zahn EU novels. She'll be Thrawns force using "enforcer" ... and she'll end up betraying him. Doubt she'll go and be Ahsokas padawan, unless its at the very end of the films etc.
Shin is to young to be Omega, being around 20. Omega was 12-13 when Order 66 happened, so she would be around 42 years old at this time of the timeline.
I don’t want her to be redeemed. It’s too easy and overdone, the Star Wars writers can’t comprehend the idea of someone having character growth that exists outside of turning to the light side. She should remain neutral, not joining Ashoka or Thrawn but leaving at the end of the show to learn about the galaxy on her own
Shin Hati killed the New Republic security team on the Vesper in episode 1 and slaughtered the command crew on the bridge. Ahsoka should bring her in to stand trial for murder.
Not Shin with Ezra. It HAS to be Ezra and Sabine together. I can see MAYBE Shin meeting Luke and a relationship starting but I doubt it. I believe we are going to get a live action Mara Jade that we don't know Luke has meet or will meet eventually. I hope that by the time of the Thrawn movie that there would be a time jump and we can recast Luke and Leia as middle age characters (30-40). This CGI needs to end lol...although Anakin looked amazing
I believe Luke will save her Luke will appear he fights army off in front of broken shin Have her scared watching man in black cloak just destroy army infront of her after like beat her in seconds Walks over to her pulls hood off as he reaches out with his hand to say hello young one I sense greatness in you if you want to achieve one with the force She says who are you I’m Luke skywalker Jedi grand master I can help you come to my Jedi academy She reaches out Luke pics her up They walk up to the falcon R2 d2 comes up on her does his thing Luke says it’s ok r2 Have her touch r2 then rush of force runs through her seeing r2 s kindness Luke tells her I will help train you but I won’t be traveling with you I got mission to do then Mira jade skywalker comes it of falcon with twins 8 years old by her side Luke says she’s right teacher for you Mira says come with me Shin says are you a sith Mira says I was first Luke my husband rescued me after a duel Brought me to the light now here I am My former master was darth maul Darth Vader Shin is in shock Mira says trust me shin I know what’s it’s like to be broken Lost Always angry I want you to know we don’t teach jedi order teachings they are flawed why most jedi fell to dark side or broke There are no masters you follow Just teachers and friends We use grey jedi teachings more We want jedi ti have friends and family keeps you strong They get on ship and take off As she’s sitting Chewbacca walks up She actually smiles says I never says a wookie before we start ti see a change in shin They land on gangster planet Mira says come with me Shin says where going We’ll first training if the day learning Jedi mind tricks Han Solo is in trouble again we need ti negotiate release We see a hutt Mira knows Jedi mind tricks don’t work on hutts So shin reaches into the force to tell hutt you will release solo now He laughs and whole bar does Mira whispers say if you don’t release solo be destroyed but don’t underestimate my power She does it and bar fight breaks out No killing use force So shin passed first test no killling then solo returns Then they go ti ship Mira says let me fix your hair it’s a mess After that shin for first time feels loved someone showing her care We see her hug Mira say thank you Mira says look to me as older sister not your master I’m here for you
Shin replacing Sabine as Ahsoka's apprentice would be great. Sabine can sacrifice herself, go be Luke's librarian or join the Mando's and get a whole season out of screwing things up for them
Subs been way down, at Disney plus, may never see this go any farther then it has. Disney has really screwed up things . ppl lost trust in them. i think Ahsoka was good but many have turned away from Disney starwars. There child grooming has really hurt there image in the public eye.
Am I the only one who doesn't want Shin to join Ahsoka?😑 I don't know, doesn't her joining the light side seem kind of...expected? the F i hope not, that is boring and the same trope all over again, Shin is too intersting and new that i did not expect in yet another disney sw show, together with Baylon that is
I think she will join Luke. Also i think Enoch is Kanan. I think he was recovered and saved by Thrawn. Look at the eyes and they are not lenses. They are blacked out.
