From what I know Magic travel is pretty good for planning travelling. Probably better than chatgpt which is not updated regularly and has only old info available.
i would absolutely love to see what else they’ve done and if they’ve been outdoors! (ik this is a little late but sentosa is REALLY fun like REALLY fun as a singaporean)
The marina bay sands mall is one of the most expensive TOURIST malls to go to as it is near to a lot of tourist spots. There are heaps other cheaper places to enjoy in Singapore if you are on a budget!!!:) We still have hawkers selling $3 bowls of fishball noodles or wantan noodles & $5 bowls of laksa (curry noodles with cockles). Even hainanese chicken rice costs a whole range of prices… the most expensive upmarket being from Chatterbox in a hotel. The cheapest chicken rice that’s delicious would probably be from Maxwell Road hawker centre. There’s plenty of public water parks for your kid to enjoy such as near Gardens by the Bay or Pasir Ris’s Wet Wet Wild which is great for all ages.
Well, I don't have to go to Singapore now, I'm living vicariously through Jeenie and Family 😊 A really nice day, even with the torrential rain 😅... What's next ???
@@jeenie.weeniei live in singapore is amazing! But it rains everyday bc is raining season.. but trust me theres a lot of indoor activities and outdoor activities!
Thank you Jeenie for posting this video today! I was just told that I have a non cancerous brain tumor which I did surgery for yesterday. This video has really brightened my day!
That's HILARIOUS! Yeah that's true since you needed to do only indoor things because the weather was pretty crazy in Dec with all the rain. Another thing that would have been cool is the Flower Dome at Gardens by the Bay which is really pretty!
I have watched your channel on RU-vid for some time and find your skits hilarious and fun! Thank you for being the fun person you are! I love your me and mom impersonations!
Hope you can come visit SG again and check out Haw Par Villa which is a "Hell Museum". My grandma used to scare me by bringing me there so I wont misbehave as a child 😂. But its interesting as it shows like how different religion percives afterlife.
She's incredibly excitable and her emotions show she would be a great person to have a party! She has a fun personality. She is also very generous with her ratings. Hubby is more stoic on his ratings. Anyway, welcome to SG. Have fun and make memories!
The colouring appearing on the floor in the middle of the food court is also at Future Worlds at Art Science Museum. So I highly think my kids’ interest in art is due to the trips to Future Worlds we did pre-covid. Then they started colouring our walls in lock down -.- I agree with 4 out of ten for ‘art’ at the food court. Just pay more for Future Worlds.
I was in Singapore for 2 months on business trip.... It was on of the most memorable trips of my life..... I had to work but had time to be tourist. Just being in the country, down town, waterfront, Clarke Quay, dinner top of Clarke Quay (the three high-rises with a stylized curved ship on top bridging the three tower towers). I was there 2015 during Singapore's 50th anniversary of independence with celebrations... It was great trip BUT I WOULD NOT GO ON MY OWN DIME.... it is so expensive. It gave me a taste for the region I went, Vietnam, Thailand a few tunes over several years on my on dime. On pervious business trip I had a month in Taiwan.
YES Singapore is expensive BUT ppl forgot that Singapore also is highly developed(super efficient)& has HIGHEST avg salary in asia❤❤It’s the only asia country thats able to be rated in WORLD top 10 highest salary rankings. So pls don’t compare other countries with Singapore esp developing Southeast Asia countries. Of course they are ALOT cheaper & have lower cost of living cos their avg salary also super low. 😂That’s why Singapore is a vy attractive country for these developing countries to work in. Do u know out of 5.8 million population in S’pore, HALF the size are foreigners??😮😊 And in case u wondering how low their avg salary are, here’s the shockers; Malaysia is 5-6 times lower than s’pore, Vietnam & Thailand are about 7-8 times lower than Singapore, even developed taiwan has 3 times lower avg salary than Singapore😊 …So pls don’t judge by only 1 aspect of things, there’s always reasons why things are the way they are.😊
@@monalisaaltenburg4879 There are down sides and some less than shinny nice things about Singapore. I drove a car there and nutty things happen on the roads. As far as your comment about highest salary in ASIA? I will trust is true. It is also a LAW BAR... Vietnam, Cambodia, Philippians, North Korea, Malaysia, Indonesia, Pakistan, Afghanistan on and on. Really poor Asian countries. BUYING power is not great, despite, salary. TAX is huge. CAR cost DOUBLE (due to X2 import duty) and fees and fuel are crazy. Car ownership not attainable for most. On the plus side public transit is pretty good. The subway is nice. Bus service is bus service. Buses at best kind of suck... but you can get around without a car (to a point). It's not like having your own car. Owning your own home? Most people live in apartments. However Singapore had great Gov housing and retirement, they have had to cut back. They were going broke being too generous. Surveillance State - They have cameras all over. Human rights are questionable at times. Singapore is famous for being clean. It is pretty much, but some run down dirty arras. For example they outlaw gum and if you litter or have gum on your person, you will get in serious trouble (remember cameras all over). Prostitution and human trafficking from countries surrounding poor countries is there. I think Singapore tries to keep this on the DL and not totally out of control. They isolate it and tolerate it. I stayed at the Hilton and a few blocks away was a tall multi floor building with clubs on every floor. Walking to a grocery store nearby this club building I got solicited more than once. One was a transvestites'. As an American I love my house, land, two cars, motorcycle, personal airplane. The quality of life is subjective. Singapore is great on Companies dime. I don't think I will go back again... I really love Singapore and recommend people go at least once. It is unique and has sights to see. The Singapore Sling drink of course was invented there. A lot of nice restaurants I recommend if you splurge, .Marina Bay Sands, restaurant at top. Weekend brunch you need to book way out. Dinner is nice as well. It just will be expensive.
You guys looked like you had so much fun! Nari…adorable as always! I loved the places AI sent you to, it looked sooooo cool! I rate this a thousand likes (if I could). See you at your next content! 🫶😇
You are truly amazing, full of energy, joy and laughter! Where are all the jet lag ? And the fact you have your little daughter with you. Salute to you ! Hope you have had a great time in Singapore. 😊
Welcome to Singapore, as a Singaporean and we have Extended Wet season currently so it’s quite cooling now.You should visit some Parks like Haw Par Villa, Fort Canning, Fort Siloso, Labrador Park, Fort Tanjong Katong and East Coast Park, the last one has great Seafood. Some Fun places for Nari would be Science Center, Kidzania. If you’re willing to travel, We also have a Hot Spring at Sembawang Hot Spring Park, there is a really nice small restaurant there called “Sembawang Eating House”, you could visit the Last Singaporean Village, “Kampung Buangkok” and The Offshore Islands are a great place to go, some examples are “St John’s Island, Pulau Semakau, Pulau Ubin and Kusu Island”
Honestly, the cloud forest is nth compared to the Flower Dome thats located right next to it. The dome consists of many different variety of real flowers and there are flowers that are only on display during certain seasons. I strongly recommend going during festive seasons such as the Lunar New Year or Christmas as there will be themed deco that is insta worthy :)
