39 tooth spool should put you in the triple digits, just make sure your throttle pull is slow and gradual the esc will hit cut off if you pull to quick. Make sure the rear suspesion is stiff.
Hats off to Moosejaw for that insanely good-looking paintjob. WIng and splitter look amazing as well. With the ESC programmer, there should be a port on the power button that you can plug it into as well for less futzing around. There's a rubber plug to keep moisture and dust out of it. I've used it for programming the spektrum ESCs in my rigs.
I looked on the power button for it as well but unfortunately it wasn't found on this one. This mold is different than other Hobbywing based ESC's because it hows the screw hole.

Have one crawler with all smart stuff. I am slowly converting all my cars to the smart system. Redoing my tc5 and putting a smart setup in it. Then on to the big cars. Spektrum hit the ball out of the park with this system. You can upgrade firmware on batteries, esc, and controller. It’s a win win. Nothing ever gets truly out of date.
Awesome video definitely sold me on the gtr body been thinking about getting one. Look into GRP tires I been using them for years. And look at adding a bigger cap pack.
Yeah, it's rarely are area where I do anything that I feel is video worthy. Normally I'm just screwing around if anything. Had a lot of fun with this one!
This is is sweet! I seriously need to find someone that can paint bodies like that. I’ve been wanting to put the GTR body on my Infraction. Only thing holding me back is that I won’t be able to come up with such a nice paint job.
As it started to rain and you continued to make passes, I cringed expecting to hear that all to familiar sound of lexan on pavement. Such a good looking RC, I dont want to see it get damaged lol
I think horizon hobby should focus more on making more bodies and pre painted bodies options for bashers that are not limited Edition. I dont like spektrum but i would buy this body for sure.

Get some better batteries if you want to push it. Leave those brakes soft. Strong brakes will wreck you. Car looks awesome. Famous last words "just one more" 🤣

⚡️⚡️⚡️In my experience & many many other peoples experiences with Spektrum “smart battery technology” is that the technology itself actually kills the spektrum batteries. I have multiple Spektrum Smart Batteries purchased for a community project that literally killed themselves due to their “smart technology”. They forced themselves into storage mode which drains the battery to a storage voltage & then they continue to drain themselves until they are completely empty & can no longer take a charge or get recognised by the voltage checker or the smart charger. Resulting in a personal loss of hundreds of pounds £. I purchased about 10 spektrum smart batteries for & 2 smart chargers & now I’m down to 6 batteries.
That is something I will continue to monitor over time. I have a few other Spektrum smart packs that so far have held up for me but it's always interesting to hear others experience with them.
@@HarleyDesignsInc I hope they hold up for you 🤞🏻. I turned the automatic storage feature off to see it that will help save the remaining 6 battery packs. I would send them back but I ordered 2 charger bundles which came with 4 batteries & I purchased 6 more separate batteries because you are only allowed to order 2 batteries per delivery. I had to order them from multiple stores online just so I’d have them ready for a community project. I still had to wait over 6 months for a Senton & Vorteks too. They are ALL except for 1, are still brand new never used batteries. The problem is that all of the batteries are all exactly the same without any way of knowing what store they came from. Any ideas would be appreciated greatly 🙏🏻.
I went with zee Batteries 3s 5500 mah 120c and isdt charger When I 1st bought my Typhoon 3S i bought a spektrum gen . 2 charger and two battery's and they lasted a week i know mostly likely bought bad batteries but when I went to buy knew ones and bigger charger so i can charger two at a time they want almost $ 600 Canadian for it so way to expensive when you're paying almost a $1000 for 1 of these arrma rtr up here 🤯
Kindly did you tried the ABS because I have same radio and I used the ABS with different set ups but every now and then the brakes fails and most of the time I ended up crashing the car because it could not go round or stop so it hits the curb or the wall at high speeds!

Spektrum eco system is a hot mess. Specially their escs and motors who are rebranded hobbywing but at a cheaper manufacturing price. The baterries are so expensive. If they had a warranty for life maybe the price would justify paying 3-4 times more than other brands that are just as good or better...
Those batteries are so lackluster its not even funny, they're almost as bad as the Traxxas cells. Friends don't let friends buy Horizon rebrand electronics.
It's all about the newbie people who use Traxxas batteries have np with thier electronics I'm sure it be same with spectrum, I have fried my 6s escs but 4s ones holding up
